I booked a flight for a business trip two months before. The day before, I find out the first leg of my trip had been cancelled — trip.com had not even informed me, let alone changed my flight. I had to spend hours on my phone with customer service — three times. First, they rebooked me on the wrong flights. Then, they promised a response that never arrived. I had to explain the same every time, they seemed to have no record of anything. At some point, they had changed the flight for my second leg to an earlier time than that for the first! Brilliant. In the end, they did not solve the issue and I had to book a new flight on my own, hours before my trip. Absolutely unprofessional and unreliable. Will not use them again.

Many real-life travel experiences have been turned into articles. Thanks to Trip’s article about the airport, things went much more smoothly for me, and I managed to catch my flight. I’m taking the time to leave a positive review.

Head to HongKong but time is not supported. They help me to cancel the order and give me full refund. Good job!

Booked a rental car. Company didn't have my car and tried to give me another at nearly 5 times my original booking cost. I had to walk away and rent from another company. Trip.com was very quick with replies but did nothing to help. Just kept saying the cancellation fee was equal to the entire rental amount. Buyer beware! Don't pay up front for a car rental!!

I deeply regret using Trip.com to book my flights. My cancellation was confirmed on April 24th, yet I am still 'awaiting refund from airline' nearly two weeks later. The process is opaque and frustrating. I will not be using this service again and would warn others to be cautious of the lengthy refund delays (booking number : 1653713958567306)

Recently booked Rome: Guided Tour of Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill. Very disappointing experience — I would not recommend booking attractions through Trip.com. The booking was fulfilled through another third-party provider, which was not made clear upfront. More importantly, there was no option to book a ticket for an infant, nor was there any information stating that a separate infant ticket had to be collected onsite. As a result, when I arrived at the attraction, my family was denied entry because my 7-month-old baby did not have a ticket, despite me never being given the option or instructions to arrange this in advance. This completely disrupted and spoiled our trip. The issue arose due to a lack of transparency and inadequate booking information, rather than any mistake on my part. At a minimum, the booking process should allow infant tickets to be added or clearly state that an onsite infant ticket is mandatory. To make matters worse, when I requested a refund for an experience I was unable to use due to these booking failures, it was refused. That made an already frustrating situation even more disappointing. Based on this experience, I would not use Trip.com again for booking attractions.

I booked tickets on a Norse Atlantic flight from LGW to MCO through Trip.com. I booked regular economy (which comes with a full-sized carry on, 1 piece of checked luggage, and meals). The verification email from Trip.com showed "Economy". When I went to the Norse website to check in, I discovered that Trip.com had booked my flight as "Economy Light" (no meals, small underseat bag only) and added the luggage as extras. So I cannot check in online. I also cannot modify the booking with Norse, or add extras because I need a verification code by email or text. But the email address and text on file are not mine, they are ones created by Trip.com that do not auto-forward to me. I contacted support to get this resolved, but they did nothing. They said the booking was correct -even though it most certainly was not.

I purchased a train ticket from Trip.com. The confirmation email showed the correct details, but the e-ticket had the wrong destination. Because of this mistake, I had to purchase a new ticket at the station. Trip.com refused to issue a refund, so I advise checking all details carefully before booking with them.

I had an extremely frustrating and costly experience with Trip.com that resulted in me missing my flight entirely. After my partner and I split, I contacted Trip.com to cancel only my partner’s portion of the booking, as I intended to keep and use my own ticket. Instead, their agent mistakenly cancelled my ticket. I immediately called support to correct the error. The agent (Jeff Cee) acknowledged the mistake and attempted to resolve it by submitting a name correction request. Later, LATAM Airlines confirmed my ticket, which led me to believe the issue had been fully resolved. At the airport, everything initially appeared normal—I was able to check in, receive a boarding pass, and drop off my luggage without issue. However, at the gate during boarding, I was told that my ticket could not be found and that the reservation was still incorrectly tied to my former partner. As a direct result of Trip.com’s error and failure to properly resolve it, I missed my flight and was forced to purchase a last-minute replacement ticket directly with LATAM at my own expense. I am now waiting for a Trip.com case manager to investigate and reimburse me. This was, without exaggeration, the most stressful and disruptive flight booking experience I have ever had—made worse by the fact that it happened on the first day of my vacation. I will never book with Trip.com again, and I strongly caution others to avoid using their service for anything time-sensitive or complex.

Trip.com were advertising Rail Cards. The site was terrible it wouldn't upload my photo but does not tell you why. When eventually it accepted my photo and my money, you don't get access to the card, instead you get access to buying more things from Trip. You cannot see the card until you have bought a train ticket from them. Someone else is buying my ticket and just needs the number. Trip have had my money but won't give me access to the card. After you have paid there is small print that says it is not refundable. That is against the law.

I had to cancel my flight a month ago following my father's death, and Trip still refuses to refund me. I acknowledge they have no legal obligation to (according to their policy), but it just shows they have no basic decency either.

I have had a horrible experience with trip.com My flight got brought back earlier for my connection And I wanted to take an earlier flight my first leg so I requested a flight change and they kept on cancelling my request. Also I received a phone call at 2in the morning!!!!!! telling me something I already knew!!!! I had to pay more money and then I didn’t even get a refund or anything Do not use trip.com because they are unreliable rubbish customer service.

Booking was easy and affordable. Paid extra as I knew there was a chance I would need to change return flight. That’s when the nightmare began. They would not reschedule my connecting flight on the same day as I had originally booked. Said it wasn’t possible. I went online to the airlines direct site and found multiple options for same day connection. I was in talks with many agents who genuinely tried to help but they only had access to minimum options. Each agent ended up transferring my case internally with a “ guarantee “ someone would reach out and reschedule my flight for same day connection. Never happened and I had gotten to this point with multiple agents. I ended up scheduling my return flight on my own and paying again. I did try to get reimbursed for the original return flight but was told that since it was more than 30 days I was no longer eligible for reimbursement. I tried every 3 days for 3 weeks! Will never use this company again.

While visiting San Sebastián, Spain, I attempted to book a stay at what I believed was Hotel Londres in the city. I completed the reservation and paid for two nights, only to discover—when entering the address into my GPS—that the hotel I had booked was actually located in Rimini, Italy, roughly 1,500 miles away. I immediately tried to cancel the reservation, but provided no assistance whatsoever, despite the obvious fact that the booking was unusable. This lack of support is extremely disappointing. I am left with no choice but to give a one-star rating—if it were possible to give less, I would.

They r not professional in handling the customers, forcing the refund to be as voucher and blaming the airline for delaying the refund process and the photo shows all + its for two weeks so be careful
