“Pros: These pants incorporate really thoughtful design and the material is light, airy, and definitely repels stains. There are multiple pockets but the chino, worn even without travelling, would be suitable for work. Cons: however - and this is why it is attracting a 3-star rating - the sizing has been designed for the smallest waist in that category. I ordered a M, which I am consistently across UK, Australian and US sizing. It 'just' fits. The waist squeezes in though and digs into my skin when I sit down. Because the M, given the elasticised waist, needs to fit the smallest person in the M category. I'm likely in the upper M range and while I can wear it, it's terribly uncomfortable and I would not wear it for long journeys. I really want to love these pants because everything else - design element, material, stitching work - is fantastic. Perhaps you might say I need to lose weight? That might be the case or at least, size up. :) So my advice - size up one category. I feel like it's such a waste of my $165 Aussie bucks though! Returning it would cost too much.”

“Water Friendly as in: it happily let's water in ;-) I understand the shoe is not fully waterproof, but I was expecting a bit more from it when I walked on the beach through a small water pool. My parents wore regular sneakers and they even managed to keep their feet dry. I went home with wet socks. Overall, the fit is amazing. And the shoes should dry fast, so that something.”

“This could be a great backpack with a few tweaks. I’m a city commuter who works out before hitting the office, and likes to go on a day trips on weekends. I purchased this backpack for two reasons: the separate shoe compartment and water bottle pocket. The shoe compartment doesn’t fit my sneakers! I realize I’m an outlier for a woman - size 11.5W/10M or EU 43 - but I am the average European and American male shoe size which means, if I can’t fit my shoes in there, neither can most of the male buyers. My other grievance is with the water bottle pocket: I can’t fit my 16 oz container in there let alone my 40 oz one. This means I either need a separate water bladder if I’m going on long hikes, or I invest in Tropicfeel’s tiny water bottle which only holds 10 oz of water (which means you will need to be somewhere you can refill if you’re going on a day trip). The only other tweak that would make this bag awesome would be a separate laptop compartment which one could access from the back of the bag. There is an existing laptop compartment, but you have to open the whole bag in order to get to it which if traveling by plane is a bit cumbersome.”

“Geyser weatherproof is not very weatherproof... got soaking socks after biking home one day and the shoe is falling apart here and there after a couple of wears... but they are super comfy and I love the design of them - just wished they actually worked as they promised, especially since I pre-ordered them and waited for like 8 months.”

“The sizing and fit on these are off. Based on the measurements online a large should have fit easily but it did not. There is no room for a booty in these pants at all. They felt very very small vs a large in other brands and the large is their biggest size. Not inclusive sizing. The fabric is also very very see through. I liked the feel of the material and in a darker color it might be nice. I have a 33 in waist with a 42 in hip but what I'd consider a medium sized butt and there was just no hope with these pants. I have small thighs and the legs fit ok but if you had legs even a little on the bigger side you would be in trouble. I think this might be my last ever order with this company. Their products only work out half the time. Some of their shoes are fantastic and have lasted me years but others have had clear build problems. Their back pack was garbage and fell right apart and their cloths are really iffy. But with returns costing so much money, I've gambled on them and lost too many times.”

“Really happy when I got them. But first trip I have taken the Geyser weatherproof trainer on and the glue on side is already coming away. I didn’t even do a huge amount of walking in them, just pottering around town. Disappointing for a pair of trainers north of £100”

“Poor shoe sizing and a poor customer service policy in response to customers whose purchases do not fit. I won't buy from this company again after a disappointing first experience. They are more interested in their revenue than keeping customers happy. If shoes don't fit and haven't been worn, then returns and exchanges should be at the company's expense, not that of the customer. Other companies manage it. Why can't you?”

“I have just now gotten to really test the capacity of my Hive backpack and I am actually quite disappointed. It is great for daily use but when I tried to use it for traveling, which is what I intended to use it for, it did not live up to the expectations. I bought the packing cube to go it with the backpack but when I fill the packing cube up and try to fit it in its intended place it is not even close to fitting. The pocket is way too small.”

Compré los Dune Chocolate cuando aún estaban a la venta durante el periodo previo al lanzamiento. Mi intención era conseguir un par que fueran cómodos y se secaran lo suficientemente rápido para un viaje de un mes al sudeste asiático, pero me decepcionaron rápidamente: Acabaron muy gastadas después de 1 sola semana de uso en Asia del Sur Este en condiciones mas que normales. Tras 1 mes de viaje y +/- 500 kms andando están en un estado realmente penoso, no las podre utilizar para otro viaje. A este precio es imperdonable. I bought the Dune Chocolate when they were still on sale during the pre-launch period. My intention was to get a pair that would be comfortable and dry quickly enough for a month-long trip to South East Asia, but I was quickly disappointed: They ended up very worn out after only 1 week of use in South East Asia in more than normal conditions. After 1 month of travel and +/- 500 kms walking they are in a really bad condition, I won't be able to use them for another trip. At this price it is unforgivable. Je vais profiter du fait que mon commentaire sur le site de Tropic Feel n’est étrangement pas publié, je me demande bien pourquoi… J’ai acheté les Dune Chocolate lorsqu’elles étaient encore en promotion pendant la période de prélancement. Mon intention était d’avoir une paire commode et qui puisse sécher assez vite pour un trip d’un mois en Asie de Sud Est, j’ai très vite déchanté : Elles ont fini par être très usés après seulement une semaine d'utilisation en Asie du Sud-Est dans des conditions plus que normales. Après 1 mois de voyage et +/- 500 kms de marche, elles sont en très mauvais état, je ne pourrai pas les utiliser pour un autre voyage. A ce prix, c'est juste impardonnable.”
