Literally have been waiting months for my Backpack that I preordered and now you can buy them immediately. Take care of your preordered customers first. We are priorities. Normally I'm not this upset but I have received so many emails telling me "mid May delivery" "oh end of May" "first week of June" now there is no definite time.

I really liked the Shell Backpack when I first saw it. What made me really wanna have it was the closet system. While I know that quality costs money, I did not want to impulse buy it so I waited a year and then got it. I like the materials, how expandable it is and I love the hidden back pocket, however I could have gone for something cheaper that suits me better. You live and you learn. I find it is not very comfortable to carry when full (even if it is not too heavy). The straps are also not very comfortable. There are two ways to open it, which is cool but while one has a zipper that you can secure with a padlock, you cannot do that with the top opening. The wardrobe system is cool but quite heavy. I had the feeling that the toiletry bag could be easily stolen because the thingies that you pull to “free” it from the backpack are hard to hide. If someone wants mine (only used it once), let me know and I’ll sell it to you.

I haven't got this order, it is being stuck at customs and your team are not replying to my emails. For now, €100 spent for something that was supposed to be a birthday present, that never arrived and no Tropicfeel teammate to talk to about it.

As they have not yet arrived, I will struggle to write something positive here, let alone review them

The backpack is well built and has some useful functionality when it comes to size flexibility, but I’ve taken it on variety of trips and I find myself more irritated with its design than appreciative. The inside wardrobe accessory is bulky, heavy and imo, not very useful for this application. The laptop section isn’t separated from the main compartment to accommodate the wardrobes bulk and can only fit one laptop within the sleeve. So iPads or docs will float around and opening it for tsa isn’t as combiner as other bags I’ve had. There’s really only one useful zipped pocket, and the toiletry bag that snaps to the front is difficult to attach if filled, which doesn’t take much to do and looks goofy. Water bottle sides don’t have enough stretch once the bag is packed for a medium sized thermos. There is a strap to slide the bag on your suitcase handle but it’s thin, elastic and doesn’t secure your bag to your suitcase. Lastly - there’s an obsolete option to lock your laptop zipper but the roll top can not be secured so the laptop is always accessible. I was so pumped on this backpack but for me, it’s really missed the mark. Stings a bit more considering it cost 300 bucks

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! I'm not sure where to begin but here is our experience.... Started with multiple missed delivery dates, we waited months past original estimate with no communication from the company. Fraudulent advertising; backpack is not "secure", only clothing that could possibly fit into organizer as demonstrated would be small children's clothes and you better only have a ultralight (small Mac air or surface type) "laptop" for it to fit. Customer Service is Non-existent, they ignore repeated email attempts and then when did respond are refusing to process our requested return on ANY part of order when they pushed a promo to add shoes (worse quality than Walmart shoes; sloppy gluing, laces don't tighten, just awful), towel and other items to my original pledge. Very unhappy with entire experience with this company would never recommend them.

i was very excited to buy and own this bag, i first bought it without any of the accessories. i liked the size and felt it was versatile and well made. then i decided to buy the packing cube. after the 2nd or 3rd trip, I realized that the loops where the spider net hooks latch were fraying. Soon after I started noticing that the elastic bands of the spider net were also deteriorating. Shortly after I realized that the back strap stitches were starting to slowly come undone. The bag was an investment for me, and so I always took very good care of it. Never overpacked, was careful when picking it up and putting it down etc. Though I had had the bag for 1 year, the damage started within a couple of months of my first use of the spider net. I wrote customer service explaining the situation. They ignored me for a couple of weeks. I wrote them a second time and then a third. Finally I received a response which seemed automated. I had to re-explain myself 2 or 3 times, as the customer service people were clearly not paying attention to the content of the message, one of them starting their email by saying that they were sorry I was having trouble with my shoes. Finally I received a dry 2 line response saying that I do not qualify for a warranty. The bag is a nice idea, badly executed. There is no reason for the spider net not to be more elastic. The kangaroo pouch does not fit shoes (but is a convenient extension for maybe more clothes). The materials are not durable. This bag should be priced at half the cost, like an Amazon essentials level, instead Tropicfeel are trying to play with the big boys like AER, Peak Design etc... But there is a reason why those other brands are confident enough to offer lifetime guarantees, whereas Tropicfeel claims to offer a 2 year one, but in fact will arbitrarily claim that you do not qualify for it when their materials fall apart. Their PR team works over time, framing the brand like it's a bunch of happy go lucky innovative designers obsessed with quality and travelling to sunny places...but their customer care team is a bunch of disgruntled inattentive paper pushers stuck in dark office somewhere. Save your money, or spend a little more and get yourself a quality bag that will actually last.

First of all, I would like to say that I am very happy with the backpack and I am 1.93m tall, so I am certainly not the average person, but I still paid the full price. I use the Shelter Backpack in olive green, the waterproof daypack, the sealed laundry bag and the roll-up toiletry bag. Now to the product review, I have been using the backpack very intensively for about 2 months now and there are a few points that simply have to be said, as it is not just a backpack, it is the most expensive backpack on the market. First of all, it has to be said that the people at Tropicfeel really put a lot of thought into it and have brought a very versatile and well thought-out product onto the market. However, it must also be said that, in my opinion, the product is partly of too low a quality for the price, the functions have not yet been perfected and the price is therefore simply far too high. The specific points are as follows: 1. when wearing the daypack, you sweat extremely on your back, as it is not breathable at all, but it is also not possible, as you have to strap it so tightly so that the resting surface rests on your shoulders and is not on your back. (Suggestion: as with a "normal" rucksack, simply make the shoulder straps longer, as the back surface is just a little too short) 2. the daypack is extremely frayed at all seams, I'm not sure if the daypack will last long, as it already looks very worn at the seams (reminder: I've only been using it for 2 months, hopefully the warranty department will fix it if I make a complaint) 3. now to my biggest complaint, the shoulder straps of the Shelter Backpack are quite wide, but they are not padded. This is an absolute no-go for a backpack costing over €400, as you can get better quality backpacks for around €90. To be fair, it has to be said that you usually only wear the rucksack for a short time when it is fully loaded, as you then get on a plane or bus etc. and drop off your luggage. But there are also other days when you have to carry the fully loaded backpack around for longer and that is really not good with this backpack because, as I said, it is simply not padded and hurts if you carry it fully loaded for longer than 30 minutes. 4. the idea of attaching the daypack to the back behind the shelter is nice, but simply not practical, as the whole construct loses its center of gravity completely and you always have to walk bent forward, which is not possible (Severe back problems are pre-programmed) Fortunately, there are two loops attached to the shoulder straps, which make it possible to attach the daypack to the front, so it's super usable and makes a lot more sense as you also have access to some items. Unfortunately, the loops are attached to the outside of the shoulder strap, so the daypack pulls extremely inwards when you attach it there and it hurts again after a certain time. (Still the best option you have!) (Suggestion: Attach the loops to the inside of the shoulder strap and test how you can best solve this problem so that it no longer hurts and you can comfortably attach the daypack to the front of the shelter). All in all, I can recommend this backpack 100% if you have a high budget, but if you want to travel very cheaply and are looking for a price-performance champion, this backpack is simply not ready yet. That will take some time. But I am confident that the people at Tropicfeel will take the review to heart and try to solve everything and improve. I don't regret buying the backpack because it is simply incredibly versatile and I really enjoy using it!

It’s ok however I wanted to swap it and get the travel toiletry bag add on but couldn’t swap it without sending the whole bag back. I think it’s a missed opportunity not being able to purchase the other items seperately in case your needs change

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. It has been over a month since I ordered my backpack (not a pre-order). I received an email saying it was shipping shortly and that I would receive another email with the tracking number. I never received that email. I have sent emails asking for updates on my order with no response. When I try the customer service bot it says my order number doesn't exist. And when I ask for a real customer service person it does nothing. I feel like this is a scam and you should not order from them.

I had a good experience with my Sunsets (very comfy) but the Geysers are another story. Yes, they are comfortable (after breaking in) but the quality is poor as the sole seams split on both shoes after 6 weeks (of very light walking, max 30 mins per day) so they are no longer waterproof. This is not isolated - my friend has two pairs of Geysers which have failed in the exact same place. Tropicfeel's answer to this is to provide a voucher for another pair with no indication that they plan to address the quality issues - this is not a sustainable approach at all. I can't get a refund because the items are used. Very disappointed and ashamed of myself for recommending Tropicfeel to friends who have made purchases and now regret it.

Geyser weatherproof is not very weatherproof... got soaking socks after biking home one day and the shoe is falling apart here and there after a couple of wears... but they are super comfy and I love the design of them - just wished they actually worked as they promised, especially since I pre-ordered them and waited for like 8 months.

The first day of use the adhesive part on the left shoe has come off.... Now the shoe looks awful... I bought those because I loved the Canyon 45 Majolica Blue I bought a few years ago, but now, not sure I'm gonna buy again...

I've been using these shoes for almost 5 months now. They are very comfortable. I can walk with them without any discomfort. However, as others reviewers, they do not answer their main purpose: waterproof. I'd been walking for 20 minutes under an average rain (even not a heavy one!), and the inside was all wet. I was really disappointed as I mainly brought them for this purpose. In addition, they are difficult to put on: I tried to use the tab at the back, but it snapped off immediately. I have to use a shoehorn... The price is too high for this.

Spent a lot of MONEY with Tropicfeel. £500+ and i've never had to deal with TERRIBLE customer service until last week. Purchased NS40 in July and product shipped. Noticed the white print RUBBED OFF after a few months. Not so bothered about this. During Xmas used the hood for the first time and elastic cord SNAPPED which rendered the hood COMPLETELY USELESS. Felt like a badly made product or DEFECTIVE. Customer service NOT interested at all and batted me off.

Had my Geysers for just under two months. Happy with sizing, look and comfort but leaking water around the toes already, in only moderately wet weather

I bought my Geyser sneakers at the end of summer, but didn't really use them until last month when I went on holiday (I bought the shoes specifically for travels, as they advertise). I am unhappy about the quality/price ratio of the product because the soles are detaching from the fabric top part, compromising the impermeability, and the rubber of the sole is easily getting scratches and marks. The idea and the design is really good, and I love the purpose of the brand, but I don't think they are there yet. They should improve the quality in their products. However, the support departament is very attentive and kind and they put a lot of effort in providing a good service.
