Very welcoming environment upon entrance. Receptionist was lovely and welcomed into the centre with a warm welcome. The doctor and nurse were very professional and explained everything in detail.

I felt very welcome as soon as I arrived. The receptionist was friendly and I felt relaxed. The nurse greeted me and was also very friendly. The Doctor was friendly and reassuring and the examination was easy and I was dealt with very professionally. I would recommend Veincentre

I have quite bad varicose veins on both legs so went to Veincentre to see what they could do for me. I got an appointment for a consultation and scan quickly and went to the Poole clinic. They were very professional and I was interested to hear that they would have to undertake a number of different procedures to remove all of my damaged veins all on the same day. The procedures were clearly explained together with the benefits and the unlikely problems that could occur. I would also have to wear bandages and support stockings for a few days after the treatment. They would have to see me again after a few weeks to ensure everything was OK and to undertake further procedures if proved necessary. This is, apparently, quite normal.

I visited vein centre 19/06/24. I had a scan and a discussion on the treatment needed which was all great. I have been given price options and am now deciding on treatment dates etc. I would like to enquire if there is any scope to go through the NHS now I have had a consultation. Is this something that could be looked at or reviewed? Many thanks Nicol Gibson

Everyone was polite, efficient, friendly and I felt completely at ease. The consultation was thorough and was explained very well. I'm happy put my trust in Veincentre, Nottingham for the treatment, which will be done in in the very near future

I felt comfortable and relaxed especially with the nurse. It all seemed a quite throrough examination and a good description given about the next step and pain to be experienced

I’m pretty sure it said both legs were going to be scanned to detect any problems but they only did my veiny leg. I would have assumed they would leave me with pictures of the leg . I had paid £250 of my own money so I think that is reasonable. I have had an mri on my shoulder before and was given all the images.

With regards to the scan itself, we can't comment on the reasons as to why only one leg was scanned - we would advise you to get in touch with our specialist advisers on 01782 753960 and they will be able to look into this for you. As for your question about the scan images, a colour duplex ultrasound generates live moving images rather than still ones. The colour helps the Consultant determine the direction of blood flow in the veins. The appointment report you received after your scan will include the detailed findings. It was really great. A very warm welcome. My husband was with me and we were both offered a drink. We didn't wait for long before we were called in and introduced. First names which I thought was lovely. Overall a very pleasant meeting. 5* from me

My whole experience was incredible, from the first meeting, where I was warmly welcomed. The nurse who showed me to the consultant's room and was an incredible support throughout my actual procedure. Mr Raj Nair my consultant, whoes professionalism and experience showed through from the moment he introduced himself. I am only six days into my procedureal recovery yet can see and feel the improvements in my legs as predicted by Mr Rai. I cannot recommend the Veincenter highly enough.

I was seen in a timely manner, the receptionist was very welcoming on my arrival, she made me feel comfortable and made me coffee while I waited to be seen by Mr Waseem Al Jundi. The nurse was very supportive while the doctor scanned my legs. I was well informed about the scan and was given an depth insight into the outcome of the scan. I had the diagnosis well explained and the course of treatment required to fix the problem with my veins. I came away from the clinic feeling confident that I would be in safe hands on the day of my treatment which takes place on the 27th June...I would, at this point in my treatment journey highly recommend The Vein Centre...
