Lovely helpful and friendly staff. Consultation went really well, very open and informative. Would have no hesitation in recommending the Glasgow centre.

Hi, I was a bit disappinted, to be honest, I felt it was a bit rushed I was never shown any scan results , and also have a history of the condition . They also advised me that having a D.V.T 10 years ago was not in my best intrest I was led to believe that with all the new treatments this could be possible. so with charged £250 only to be told I can't have the procedure was a bit excessive. I have since contacted another clinic for a second opinion I would think a refund of some sort would be acceptable Regards Mr P.Rice

Dear Mr Rice, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we are sorry that you are not happy with the service provided. Our consultation always includes a scan which helps our consultants to confirm whether or not treatment is needed or can be carried out, and unfortunately in your case, our consultant felt that treatment of the superficial veins would not benefit you. Due to the scan results and your medical history, the consultant felt that the efficiency of the treatment would be reduced, meaning that you wouldn’t get the symptomatic improvement that patients usually get from having the treatment done. We would not want to undertake treatment that may not help you, and although this may not be what you want to hear, the safety of our patients is our number one priority at all times. I do understand that this is disappointing as you want to be relieved of your symptoms, and I apologise that we are unable to help you any further in this situation. We've sent you the appointment report which details the results of the scan. I arrived at your premises on 2nd May on time and was welcomed and made to feel at ease which, I think, is important. The nurse present was helpful and caring, Miss Nung Rudarakanchana also too Miss Nung completed her examination throughly, I felt, and explained exactly what she would be able to treat and the procedures involved. Because of the above, I was pleased to make a further appointment for 16th May at 2.30pm to undergo the first stage of the treatment. I trust that this will meet your request. I was very impressed with the relaxed and friendly approach of all of the staff. Still very professional, reassuring and if the actual procedure is as smooth as explained and results are as good as indicated I will be one of the most satisfied clients ever. The Dr and nurse that I saw were really nice, considerate and informed me of everything as they went along. I felt so at ease as they went through questions and not embarrassed when the Dr examined my legs. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone that would like some information/treatment for their varicose and spider veins etc

I could not fault the service and/or treatment I received at the Veincentre. From the Doctor, the Nurse through to the receptionist. All were very informative, kind and caring. Explaining in detail the proposed treatments, and possible post-treatment symptoms. Aftercare information following treatment was provided in full, orally and in writing. I felt completely at ease during my consultation and the following course of treatments undertaken.

I was very apprehensive about my visit and what I was to expect but I felt very at ease as soon as I entered the building. The kind receptionists made me a coffee immediately when I told her that I had been stuck in traffic on the motorway and that it had taken me a little longer to get there.

Every aspect of my initial appointment at Veincentre has been excellent and highly professional, from having initial questions answered by the patient adviser through to a thorough medical assessment at clinic. The whole ambience of the clinic is warm and welcoming from reception, nursing and medical staff whilst at the same time feeling very well organised and inspiring confidence. Communication from the patient adviser and the doctor has been thorough and has been given in a free and open manner that provides me with the information to make my own decisions regarding treatment without any pressure.
