HI Weldrick Ltd is a family-owned company registered in England and based in Doncaster, Yorkshire- we have had an internet presence since 1998. We fully pay UK taxes and we do not divulge your personal data to any third parties.

We have a pharmacy tradition dating back to the 1930s when our late founders' grandmother opened her first pharmacy in Doncaster Town Centre. Remaining true to his vision our business remains 100% family-owned.

With a commitment to community healthcare and staff training we have steadily grown to over 60 pharmacies in the South Yorkshire area. We employ over 600 formally trained staff among who are more than 80 pharmacists, including 9 clinical pharmacists.

While our aim is not to make any mistakes we recognise they will happen occasionally and if they do we commit to communicating with our customers, do our best to put the problem right, identify the cause of the error and learn from it.

“I ordered some urgent diabetes medicine for my cat. It wasn't a controlled drug, but it took 10 days (8working days) to come. By the time it arrived, my cat became too ill and has since been put to sleep. I would've never had ordered it from you if I knew it would take so long .”

Dear Anthony S, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I am the manager responsible for our website and I have noted your feedback, as a result I have looked into the details of your order. Firstly, I asked our Buying Manager to review this item and explain our pricing approach. Based on the buying prices available to us, I am satisfied that our retail price is lower than many competitors. This product has also been affected by a national shortage, with a significant increase in demand which has left many local pharmacies out of stock. Some online retailers have sourced higher priced stock and are charging noticeably more for the same product. Since mid-December we have seen an eight-fold increase in demand for this item, however we have still kept our price as low as possible. On delivery, I can see you selected a premium option so the parcel could be delivered to a local convenience shop for collection. You placed your order at 3.42pm on Tuesday 27 January, it was packed and dispatched on Wednesday 28 January in line with our stated service levels and it was available to collect from your local shop on Thursday 29 January at 9.57am. While I understand your disappointment, your order was processed and delivered within the timeframes stated on our website. I am sorry that the price and delivery speed did not meet your expectations and we do want to retain you as a valued customer so I have asked a member of our customer service team to contact you to ensure you are satisfied with this explanation and to check whether there is anything further we can do to help.
