HI Weldrick Ltd is a family-owned company registered in England and based in Doncaster, Yorkshire- we have had an internet presence since 1998. We fully pay UK taxes and we do not divulge your personal data to any third parties.

We have a pharmacy tradition dating back to the 1930s when our late founders' grandmother opened her first pharmacy in Doncaster Town Centre. Remaining true to his vision our business remains 100% family-owned.

With a commitment to community healthcare and staff training we have steadily grown to over 60 pharmacies in the South Yorkshire area. We employ over 600 formally trained staff among who are more than 80 pharmacists, including 9 clinical pharmacists.

While our aim is not to make any mistakes we recognise they will happen occasionally and if they do we commit to communicating with our customers, do our best to put the problem right, identify the cause of the error and learn from it.

Dear Gillian, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and for highlighting your disappointment with the speed of our service. Unfortunately, when your parcel was received from the driver, it was not booked into our click-and-collect system by the branch team as they are trained to do. As a result, you did not receive the usual “Ready to Collect” notification. Please accept my unreserved apology. I share your frustration and the experience you describe is well below the standard of service we expect to provide. We are a family-owned business that has served our local communities for almost 100 years and our colleagues are recruited from those same communities. That said, this does not excuse what happened. Our teams are trained to deliver consistently high customer service and it is disappointing that we fell short on this occasion. I have already shared the details of your complaint with the branch manager responsible for that location. They have asked me to pass on their apologies and their assurance that they will review this with the team, including the importance of booking parcels in promptly so customers are kept informed. You also raised concerns about our telephone service. I have escalated this to our IT team and our telephone system provider to establish whether there were any technical issues at the time you tried to call. We take customer calls very seriously and want to ensure you can reach us reliably. I hope this explanation and the actions we have taken are reassuring and that you will consider giving us another chance. We genuinely value our local customers and the trust you place in us.
