HI Weldrick Ltd is a family-owned company registered in England and based in Doncaster, Yorkshire- we have had an internet presence since 1998. We fully pay UK taxes and we do not divulge your personal data to any third parties.

We have a pharmacy tradition dating back to the 1930s when our late founders' grandmother opened her first pharmacy in Doncaster Town Centre. Remaining true to his vision our business remains 100% family-owned.

With a commitment to community healthcare and staff training we have steadily grown to over 60 pharmacies in the South Yorkshire area. We employ over 600 formally trained staff among who are more than 80 pharmacists, including 9 clinical pharmacists.

While our aim is not to make any mistakes we recognise they will happen occasionally and if they do we commit to communicating with our customers, do our best to put the problem right, identify the cause of the error and learn from it.

“I've used this pharmacy for nearly 6 years and they always delivered my pet prescription In good time but over the past months the processing takes longer and despatching too. I probably will use another company when I next have another prescription for my cat. It's disappointing really.”

Dear Felicity Wielgus, I am very sorry to learn from your review that you feel our processing and delivery times are now longer than they used to be. I fully appreciate how important timely delivery is, especially when you are ordering medication for your pet, and I understand how stressful delays can be in those circumstances. I have traced your most recent order and can see that it was placed on the afternoon of Friday 20 February and dispatched on Friday 27 February. While many orders are delivered within a few days, we do state on our website at the time of ordering that dispatch can take up to 5 working days, with a further 1 to 3 working days for delivery by our delivery partners. This means the maximum delivery timeframe is 8 working days. At present we are operating at the upper end of the timescales stated on our website for dispensing and dispatch. This is due to our transition into our recently extended veterinary dispensing facility in Doncaster. The move has been made to improve our delivery times in the longer term, though while we complete the transition, adjust staffing roles and finish training, some orders are taking the full stated processing time. Please be assured that our clinical team is working hard to process prescriptions as quickly as possible while we stabilise the transition and return to our usual service levels. We genuinely value your support for our local family-owned pharmacy business and we are committed to making sure this new facility delivers the improved efficiency, service and savings your pets deserve in future.
