HI Weldrick Ltd is a family-owned company registered in England and based in Doncaster, Yorkshire- we have had an internet presence since 1998. We fully pay UK taxes and we do not divulge your personal data to any third parties.

We have a pharmacy tradition dating back to the 1930s when our late founders' grandmother opened her first pharmacy in Doncaster Town Centre. Remaining true to his vision our business remains 100% family-owned.

With a commitment to community healthcare and staff training we have steadily grown to over 60 pharmacies in the South Yorkshire area. We employ over 600 formally trained staff among who are more than 80 pharmacists, including 9 clinical pharmacists.

While our aim is not to make any mistakes we recognise they will happen occasionally and if they do we commit to communicating with our customers, do our best to put the problem right, identify the cause of the error and learn from it.

“I ordered a tube of LMX4 topical anaesthetic. I can/will get through an amount of the stuff because I use it for electrolysis hair removal, and I would ideally like to be able to order more than one at a time, which I can do elsewhere. However it's cheaper here than elsewhere, postage and all, so one a month it is. Otherwise, no complaints.”

“I'm very happy with this company's service. Orders always arrive correct and of quality/brand advertised, prices are consistently competitive. Always posted promptly too. I've used other suppliers from time to time but they can come and go and be a bit erratic. Reccomend these guys for reliability.”

“We are long time customers making anywhere between 3 to 6 large orders per year. We had issues with the delivery company (DPD) in 2024/2025, initially expertly handled by a female Weldricks manager. In 2026, we appear to have had an error with the contents with every order we have made, either missing items or substituted items. It has caused us some inconvenience and time in trying to sort out on each occasion. On the most recent occasion, we had 2 errors with an order we had split into 3 separate parcels in order to ensure Royal Mail would be delivering them. 2 items had been substituted for the smaller versions and 1 item was missing altogether. On telephoning and speaking to Michael P regarding the missing item and asking if warehouse staff had been changed in the 2026 year, there was a discernible tone of not being believed as no apology was made, but we were told that all of our orders would now be sent through to front desk for checking before posting out. We actually would prefer this as the recurrent issues with contents are inconveniencing and time consuming, but we did not appreciate the subtle inference that we might be wrong about the contents issues that have occurred this year as it suggests that Weldricks somehow thinks we are being dishonest? Of course, it may be that Weldricks has launched an internal investigation to get to the bottom of what may be happening with staff members, but Michael P did not verbally communicate in a way that suggested all possibilities were being considered. To be fair to Michael P, he followed up this interaction with an email in which he did apologise for what had happened with our order but unfortunately, the damage had been done by then. We will continue to shop from Weldricks for the moment based on the good service we had received previously, but sadly, for the first time ever, we will also consider other options.”

Dear Anonymous I am very sorry to learn from this review that items have been missing from your orders on more than one occasion. Please accept my sincere apologies for our mistakes, by way of explanation and not as an excuse we do have a three-stage checking process before an order is sent to our customers but clearly my colleagues did not get it right. I totally understand how annoying it is for you to have to let us know, more than once that this has happened. Please be assured that when errors occur and we are made aware of them they are fully reviewed by the respective teams in our business because our ambition is to learn from any mistakes we make and try to be sure they do not happen again. I was really pleased to learn that my colleague Michael P has rectified our errors for you, getting the missing items to you as quickly as he could. I can also see that a note has been added to your account so that all orders are double checked by our customer service team before they are sent for dispatch.
