HI Weldrick Ltd is a family-owned company registered in England and based in Doncaster, Yorkshire- we have had an internet presence since 1998. We fully pay UK taxes and we do not divulge your personal data to any third parties.

We have a pharmacy tradition dating back to the 1930s when our late founders' grandmother opened her first pharmacy in Doncaster Town Centre. Remaining true to his vision our business remains 100% family-owned.

With a commitment to community healthcare and staff training we have steadily grown to over 60 pharmacies in the South Yorkshire area. We employ over 600 formally trained staff among who are more than 80 pharmacists, including 9 clinical pharmacists.

While our aim is not to make any mistakes we recognise they will happen occasionally and if they do we commit to communicating with our customers, do our best to put the problem right, identify the cause of the error and learn from it.

“Apauling miserable staff, like talking to a brick wall when there is an issue. Not first time i have experianced bad customer service with them. I dont care how cheap or not stuff is i wont put myself through the pain of dealing with these staff. They have you over an emorional barrel and show no signs of any humanity. Yes i lost a dog week before, no compasion whatsoever. BEAR DIED on 10 th dec i was 2 days late in getting persciption to them, they told me on the monday after i spoke with them on friday morning before money. Nobody told me persciption would runout sunday. I paid 14 pounds at post office to make sure it was there saturday and signed for. I got call monday saying its now 2 days out of date. As i said like a brickwall all my calls are recorded as well. Awful people never want to buy anything from them again. Very painful experiance not once but twice.”

Dear Sandra Tullin, Thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback. I am very sorry to read about your experience and in particular, that you feel you were treated without compassion by my colleagues at a time when you were grieving the loss of your dog, Bear. If I have understood correctly, you spoke with one of my colleagues on the Friday morning and then paid for a signed-for delivery so the prescription would arrive on the Saturday. You were then contacted on the Monday and told the prescription was “two days out of date”. I fully appreciate how distressing and frustrating that must have been. Please accept my sincere apologies both for the way you feel you were spoken to and for any lack of clear, timely information about the expiry deadline. That is not the standard of customer care we expect and train our colleagues to provide. I will arrange for senior colleagues in our dispensing and customer care teams to review what happened end-to-end, including the call notes/recordings and the timeline of events: what was discussed and what you were advised about expiry. I will also ask them to consider the most practical next steps for you, including whether we can still help with an updated prescription or advise the quickest way to get this resolved. As soon as my colleagues return to work, they will review this and come back to you with a clear explanation of what happened and what we can do to put this right. Thanks Allan
