“Excellent service, delivered next day. Nice choice of products and they were appreciated by my daughter and family. Your advertising I found a little misleading. You are not in fact located in the ‘Local’ area where the products are sourced from!!! Tricky as I thought I was supporting a Nelson based business!!!”

I completely understand your point about our location, and I'd like to clarify how we operate. While our warehouse is based in the lower North Island (as transparently mentioned on our shipping policy, contact page, and during checkout), our mission is specifically to spotlight and support small artisan producers from across all of New Zealand, including the wonderful makers in Nelson. When you purchased a Nelson gift box, every Nelson-based product included directly supported those local producers financially. We've now returned almost $3 million to small businesses across New Zealand since we started, with those funds going directly to the regions where the products are made. Without this nationwide platform, many of these smaller producers wouldn't have the same opportunity to reach customers beyond their immediate area. We're essentially a matchmaker, connecting customers like yourself with exceptional local products from specific regions that might otherwise remain undiscovered. Your purchase genuinely did support Nelson businesses, just through our curated platform rather than a physical Nelson shop.
