Some years ago my daughter asked me to teach her a handstand. Okay! Let’s go … but then I realized that I could not perform a handstand, too. Holy crab! On internet I found a great tutorial on handstands written by the GMB group. This was an extraordinary good written proposal. I performed a lot of sports on competition levels (KENDO, race cycling, open water swimming, skiing), but the GMB method was very different. After joining the ELEMENTS program I learned what “Physical Autonomy“ means: Increased joint mobility, motor control in every range of motion, coordinated strength and a lot of FUN! Due to GMB there was a lot improvement in every sport I am performing. So, I integrated animals moves like BEAR, FROG, MONKEY in the warming of our Kendo Dojo. After joining the MOBILITY, MOBIUS and VITAMINS programs I was able to play with a lot of movements. At the moment I am dealing with some shoulder and a lower back problems. The RESILIENCE program is a wonderful addition for every athlete (especially regarding martial arts). For me it is a great support regarding revalidation and prevention, too. It safely strengthens connective tendons and ligaments, creates margin with greater range of motion, improves balance and proprioception, acclimatizes to discomfort so you can stay calm. However, there is one very important point: you have to be consistent in your training! That is the real magic of all martial arts and the vision of the GMB groep! These guys will take care of you.
