“I was so excited to try this feeder as we have so many squirrels that like to eat off of our other feeders. This feeder is very easy to assemble. You have to make sure that there is nothing close that the squirrels can jump from to get to it. Once it is assembled, it is quite sturdy. The color of the base is a good dark green. The feed is visible as well. This feeder has withstood wind gusts of up to 30 mph so far. Also, since installing the feeder in our yard, we have not seen the first squirrel on it. The birds love the feeder.”
“This bird feeder is perfect in every way! It has an extra large capacity and holds a full 5lb bag of bird seed. It is also tall enough that I can put it in my yard without worrying that my cats might get to the birds that I’m trying to feed. The seed always gets evenly distributed among the 4 separate feeding perches and the green bottom part keeps the seed safe from freezing. I look forward to seeing all the different bird life this feeder will attract to my yard!”
“This bird feeder is simple yet quite effective. Out of the box it’s a simple install. The bag of seeds filled into the container very nicely. No amount of seeds fell through the openings. The bottom half of the bird seeder is very effective to stopping squirrels as they attempt to climb through. Also I don’t know if this product is advertised as wind resistant but it does not move through some very windy days we have been having. This means bird seeds aren’t flying out all over the ground like traditional hanging feeders. The birds seem to enjoy the feeder as well and it’s nice to have it closer to the home to see through our window. Overall, I really like this bird feeder design.”

Assembly was extremely easy.
The installation was also easy. The only tools needed were a hammer/mallet and a wooden block. The ground here is hard, if your ground is soft, you may want to use cement.
So far, the squirrels have not been able to raid it. I do have a tub of shortening to grease the pole if necessary. I swear the squirrels here must be Mensa members. But again, I have not had to resort to that. So far, so good!
The birds love it and my husband and I have been enjoying watching the birds.

“I finally was able to put in this feeder I received a few weeks back, as the ground was hard for quite some time. The instructors are great and good tip about using a piece of wood to hammer in the pole to the ground. Please make sure you follow this step. Easy to put together, holds a lot of seed (s). I like the fact it has an insert to control the seed at the dispensing 'windows'. Helps keep the seeds from flying out when you refill it but also when the birds land on it. So far no squirrels, I am excited. Sturdy as can be, really like seeing it in my yard. Birds of course love it. I fill it with the black-oiled sunflower seeds but you can use a variety of seeds with it. Easy to clean as you just lift it off the pole and undo the top. I also like the fact it keeps the seeds dry from the rain. Overall very pleased with this product. Keep in mind when you pick your 'spot' keep it away from branches or trees or other things the squirrels can 'launch' off of. (I have seen it with other feeders, the squirrels can jump quite a distance).”

My twin granddaughters who are 3 yrs old love to look out the windows and what the birds land in the yard so this is even a bigger deal.
