Oh I love this. I have an issue with squirrels on my feeders and this is a blessing now I'm just feeding the birds from the feeder. I'm gonna get another one to replace the other feeder in the yard.

, I have every size and type of squirrel imaginable. This is the only feeder that has kept them out. This feeder has survived several attacks by squirls. I've had to replace poles (a lot) because the bears snap them off, but the feeder itself has remained in tact. The plastic part has teeth mark holes from the bears. I've duct taped over the holes and it's still feeding happy birds, although I've now mounted it on a cedar post and applied grease to the bottom to skid off the squirrels. I am super impressed with this feeder!

I love this bird feeder. It was easy to put together and is very sturdy. It holds a lot of bird seed. Can't wait to watch the rogue squirrels try to get the food!

This is the best to watch squirrels eat from. It seems like the squirrels really like it. We put it close to our fence so the squirrels could just hop up and eat some food. I spend a lot of time just watching them.

Squirrel Proof Classic Bird Feeder with Pole and Squirrel Baffle We live very close to a nature park and often see cardinals, blue jays, mockingbirds, and doves. I thoroughly enjoy watching birds coming and flittering around and the different sounds they make. I am curious to see if this feeder will attract more or different bird species to our yard and deter the squirrels from helping themselves to the birdseed. I love the directions for the feeder; they are very straightforward on how to set up the feeder and what to watch out for when selecting its placement. In addition, the instructions are printed in an easy-to-follow step-by-step method with diagrams and proper spelling and grammar. WTG “BIRDS Choice”!!! The poles, lid, and baffle, all seem to be pretty sturdy. The baffle appears like it will be a very strong deterrent for the squirrels attempting to get to the bird stoops. The plastic feeder tube: I am a little leery if it will hold up to the south Texas summers only time will tell. Given the thought put into the construction, I believe it will last at least for a few years!

So far the most challenging part of this was the directions. There is a lot of detailed steps about how to bang the pole into the ground w/a hammer & piece of wood and NOTHING about a weird little blue cap that seems misplaced. I figured out the cap must go up inside the birdfeeder to keep the pool from wobbling around too much however the pole would not fit. The small end of the pole still wobbled around when inserted into the cap. The larger end of the pole would not fit at all. Without the use of the The birdfeeder just wobbles around and isn’t secure at all.

The Classic Feeder was easy to set up and install in our backyard. The large feed holder allowed less refills. The feeder has ledges on side where the birds can land and feed, however it attracted lots of birds and not enough ledges for all the birds to feed at the same time.

I received this as a sample to try out. It hadn't been up for an hour till the squirrels started to attempt to get at it. It was very entertaining to watch them give it their all. After a few days they gave up and just stuck to eating watch falls on the ground. Oh by the way, it also feeds the birds..
