It is easy to install - we have it on the pole to make it even harder for the squirrels to mess with. It is also so much easier to fill than the models where you have to flip it over. After I filled it set it out I watched all the cardinals and a few finches go wild! This is very well made And it's just a right hight For me to peek out and look.
