“I love the fact that this bird feeder doesn’t allow the squirrels in my yard to eat all the bird food! It comes with a pole that it mounts on. It looks really good in my flower bed. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and is very easy to fill.”
“That said, this is a great feeder. The birds seem to love it. Its design seems to discourage the larger birds, like Jays, so they feed for a few seconds and then move on. This prevents the large birds from dominating the feeder. The small birds feed at will and seem very happy.”
“I have never used this type of feeder before, didn't think it would work. But I was wrong it was easy to put together and set up in my yard. We have alot of birds where we live and squirrels. It seems sturdy but we'll have to see. The birds like it, one thing I think would be a good fix is the little silver pole things that the birds stand on need to be a little bigger or longer. Haven't seen any squirrels try to get at it yet.”
“This feeder is really easy to set up and very user friendly. It is easy to fill and easy to clean. It even has a spinning plastic seed guide to keep seeds from getting jammed. The birds came to it within the first hour. I don't know if they prefer it to a hanging feeder, but they sure don't seem to mind. We have quite a few squirrels in our yard and so far, none have attempted to climb the skinny, slick pole. I sure can't see how they would ever come close.
