“I installed three wood blinds for the bay window of our bedroom about two weeks ago, and my initial impression is that it won't be long until problems develop. We typically raise and lower our blinds to the midpoint of the window each day. Already, in the short time we've had them, I sense some resistance to smooth operation. The pull strings have tendency to twist around one another. I May have to study more intently what is actually happening in order to solve this problem, but the question should be: why do I have to be dealing with any issue after only two weeks of use?”

“I bought these blinds because I had previously purchased another set of blinds from blindster that were very similar but just with smaller slats. They looked great and wear easy to install but these were lacking a little bit in my opinion. The installation was easy like my previous purchase but the slats themselves weren't very secure and they kept getting out of place. I wouldn't purchase this specific design again if I had to do it again.”

I'm sorry you aren't completely happy with your blinds. The slats on a routeless blind will shift around. Normal routed blinds have route holes that are in the middle of the slats and the lift cords run through the holes, holding the slats firmly in place. Routeless blinds have notches on the back of the slat that fall onto the ladders when tilted completely open. When you close the blinds there is nothing holding the slats in place until you open them again. I will contact you direct to see what we can do to resolve this issues.
