“These blackout curtains work flawlessly. I installed them in my basement movie theater room where it is important to have close to complete darkness to use a video projector during daylight hours. The measurements were exactly what I specified with one very large single piece curtain for a double width casement window as well as a smaller curtain for a single window. There is basically no gap to allow light through even during the middle of the afternoon. They're easy to use also. I opted for the metal chain because I think it feels higher quality than a plastic chain would. This was my second purchase from Blindster (My first included a very large solar shade and a set of interior shutters which also surpassed my expectations) and I will be returning when I need other window covering products.”

“We are pleased with the two blackout shades purchased from Blindster, but a couple of things were not so liked. First there was no instructional sheet. Yes, a roller shade is very simple, but a "simple" instructional diagram and minimal instructions should be provided. For example, the end connections received have a locking function that hold the roller in place. The design works fine on the left side with angled receiver slot slanted up, but when attached to the right side in our particular "inside frame top mount" the locking device is not accessible in one direction or, if positioned with angled slot down in the other direction, it is subject to roller dropping if the locking function were to fail. A right and left designed bracket design should be provided.”

“Blinds were not of the quality I would have liked. Bottom wood in hem didn't extend from side to side leaving hem curly. Blinds were cut too tight and very hard to raise and lower. But blindster was terrific and I got better faux wood blinds instead of shades. I have many more windows to cover and they'll all be blindster. Nice folks to deal with.”
