“My wife and I are so happy that we decided to purchase shutters for our home. They look amazing and fit absolutely perfect! We went with the "Z" frame, so that our windows would have the framed look around them, and that was absolutely the right decision. The shutters seem to be very high quality, and although they are more plastic than wood, I actually like that because they are very easy to clean and maintain. I also want to say that I may be one of the least handy people out there, but I had absolutely no problem installing these myself. I was a bit intimidated by all of the boxes that they came in, but they were super easy to install. I think that anyone can install these with no issues. I would highly recommend these shutters!”

“I just finished installing the 5 window shutters and I love them. Measuring was difficult due to the age of my home but thanks to the awesome customer surface and Production, Kelly and James, everything went great. It really takes more time to take them out of the shipping boxes than to install. The look is exactly what I wanted. Next year when I finish the last remaining window replacements I will return to complete the look. Thanks Blindster, your awesome!!”

“From the time that I worked with Blindsters Shutter expert, James to the finished product I would rate them an excellent. Note this is coming form a person who does not rate excellent easily. James was a great help in helping me design what I wanted and the end results were what I expected. The product was precise and easy to install. If there was any issue it was that the directions that came for installation were hidden and I did not think that there were any but found them late in the process. They need to highlight where to find the directions.”

“I want to say I was hesitant to purchase the Plantation Shutters because I was somewhat afraid that I would mess up the measurements. But because of the customer service I received. they fit like a glove. The shipping turn around was much quicker than expected, and the installation took less than 20 minutes once I unpack-aged it. That is total assembly and mounting. Amazing. Hint if you going to purchase Plantation Shutters get the Z frame it cleans it all up. Will surely purchase from them again. Great customer service and shipping. I am very happy with the look and quality”

“Just installed them and they look as good as others that have cost much more and were installed by carpenters. Several issues to be aware of though. 1) If you want to cover the bottom sill of your window, you will need to order the Casing frame cover strip. We were not aware of this and were not asked if we wanted to do that. The other shutters we bought came with that so we did not know to order it. 2) The instructions on attaching the L strip to the back side of the frame and fig. 2.3 are not real clear. BE SURE THAT THE L STRIP IS NEAR THE INSIDE PART OF THE FRAME. The frame is face down during this portion of the assembly and you will not realize the L strip is too far towards the outside until you feel the screws protruding from the frame - ugh! The fig 2.3 is not very clear on exactly where the L strip should be. Perhaps a caution to keep the L strip to the inside of the frame would help. 3) Finally, if you have a marble sill, you will not be able to screw the bottom of the frame into it. You will need to use a good locktite glue on the back side of the bottom frame to secure it solidly. Other than those issues looks great!”
