“Just installed them and they look as good as others that have cost much more and were installed by carpenters. Several issues to be aware of though. 1) If you want to cover the bottom sill of your window, you will need to order the Casing frame cover strip. We were not aware of this and were not asked if we wanted to do that. The other shutters we bought came with that so we did not know to order it. 2) The instructions on attaching the L strip to the back side of the frame and fig. 2.3 are not real clear. BE SURE THAT THE L STRIP IS NEAR THE INSIDE PART OF THE FRAME. The frame is face down during this portion of the assembly and you will not realize the L strip is too far towards the outside until you feel the screws protruding from the frame - ugh! The fig 2.3 is not very clear on exactly where the L strip should be. Perhaps a caution to keep the L strip to the inside of the frame would help. 3) Finally, if you have a marble sill, you will not be able to screw the bottom of the frame into it. You will need to use a good locktite glue on the back side of the bottom frame to secure it solidly. Other than those issues looks great!”

“I luv luv luv my new shutters!! They look fantastic! From end to end, the entire process was effortless. James was extremely helpful in making sure all my calculations were right. (Thank You James!!) They arrived within 2 weeks. And most importantly, they were very easy to install and took hardly any time. The quality is excellent. I couldn't be more happy! I highly recommend Blindster and their product! (BTW - I never take the time to go on line and write a review. So it says something... I was that satisfied and that happy to be compelled to write this review).”

“Shade installation, especially Roman very difficult.perhaps it was the location, up against ceiling which I told the phone person. The roller is large and bracket was impossible to get 2 screws in either top or side. Finally we mounted the bracket to Wallis close to ceiling as possible . We had to cut the back liner and fabric to slide iron bracket. Believe me it did not slide! We attached the top with one screw, second impossible. I think the bracket should be longer and offer more opportunity ( holes) for fastening . Furthermore. We could never have installed this shade without the help of an additional person that we paid considerable, adding to the cost. Instructions are not clear either.”
