“My Vertdesk v3 works well thus far; sturdy, easy to adjust height
After some frustration with delayed delivery (based on the 'estimated delivery' displayed on the order webpage), Heather, Greg and the customer service team were fantastic and very responsive; a real personal touch...it's obvious they want a great customer experience in addition to a reliable product.
Assembly wasn't bad. I'm not the most mechanically gifted person, but had little trouble putting it together after I figured out the hardware.
Nits to improve, beyond improved integrity in the delivery ETA:
1) I mounted my own 8-socket surge protector underneath, as BTOD's power strips do not appear to provide that protection.
2) The complimentary 'wire management' cases do not stay stuck -- keep falling off/hanging down. Strip tape on the cases not strong enough.
3) Instructions could be clarified in terms of explaining the same hardware referenced across multiple instruction sheets.”
“I've surprised with the quality so far. It's a very solid, well-made piece of furniture. Even at standing height (44" for me) I don't notice any wobble. It was easy enough to assemble and I haven't had problems with my 50 lbs. load. We'll see how it handles another 50 lbs. when I get my speakers hooked up but I doubt it will cause issues. Highly recommended!”
“Overall, the order, delivery, and assembly went very smoothly. The desk is very stable in the lowest position, the highest position, and everywhere in between. The motor is audible when actuated, but relatively quiet and the motion of the desk is very smooth. All 4 of the adjustable, plastic foot/leveling pads appeared as though they had been stressed at some point, with one one of the pads having a 1" - 2" crack. The packaging did not appear damaged during shipping and the contents were not inspected until weeks after receiving. BYOT was not contacted regarding the pads, but it was possible to repair the pad w/ epoxy. The crack likely would not have impacted stability of the desk even if it was not "fixed." I have used the desk for ~1 week, with several height adjustments throughout each day, and have been very pleased with the stability, the adjustability,and expanded work surface when compared with pedestal or adjustable arm solutions. Well done, BTOD!”

“I purchased the VertDesk after having a bad experience with the Jarvis desk. The Jarvis was difficult to assemble. Approx 6 of the metal screws didn't fit the metal parts. Had to send back and get new parts. After completing the assembly after about 6 uses one of the legs didn't work and sent the whole thing back. The VertDesk was easy to assemble in much less time. The legs were already assembled. After putting it together it is working without any problems. Will be purchasing a second desk.”
