“Chair is great, haven't had any back issues since it came and no issues with the chair. Took a bit to get used to it from my old broken $50 chair, but once I had all the adjustments where I wanted them, it's been nice and comfortable.
There is a scuff mark on the back but I expected that and from all my research was warned that it could have them, plus they're just superficial marks, not anything major.
Even though it is a bit expensive I would recommend this chair to others.”
“The chair arrived very promptly and in beautiful condition. I have yet to find any scuffs/scratches at all. I watched a ton of BTOD's videos on YouTube to help research which chair I wanted. They seemed honest and didn't pull any punches when talking about all the chairs, which is a big reason I ultimately purchased through them. The refurb looks great, the chair is very comfortable and I will probably never buy an important office chair from anyone else!”
“Hair arrived in great condition and has been very comfortable so far. The only slight issue I have seems to be with the recline setting. Even though I have it set to not recline, it still slips a little and makes popping noises when I put pressure on the back of the chair. Not sure if that's just the way the chair is though.”
“I am hopeful in this chair, but I will say that it has not been perfect out of the box. The chair is extremely comfortable and supports me in the way I was hoping it would. The problems I encountered were concerning the piston for the chair, more specifically, the side activated piston. The one which came with the chair broke within a week of use; it would raise up but fully lower when any weight was put on it. I contacted customer support and Janet worked with me to get me a replacement cylinder. When the replacement arrived, I installed it per the instructions and it worked once and would not raise up again. I contacted Janet once again about the problems I was having with the chair and she sent me another cylinder to replace the replacement. She also extended the 30 day trial period by 30 days to compensate for not being able to use the chair.
I am now on my 3rd cylinder, which is working just as it should. I do wonder if BTOD is having supply issues with their parts and if their suppliers are not manufacturing adequate resources, regardless, BTOD has stood behind their product and fixed the problem. Janet was super quick to help and was amazing through the process.
The only reason why I gave 4 stars out of 5 is because of the problems I encountered at the first. I still have reservations as to the quality of some of the replacement parts that are being used, but BTOD is confident in their craftsmanship and certifies it with a 12 year warranty.”

btod sure puts in effort and energy into revitalizing already great but used steelcase leap v2 chair.
Everything feels and works like new and i would highly recommend the chair and the company to anyone who is looking to buy high end chair at cheaper price point”
