“It's a great office chair. I wouldn't value it more than 300 honestly. It creeks when you sit on the edge of the seat a lot. And the arm rests move way too easily. I wish there was a way to lock it in. It is a very comfortable chair overall, but not $600 comfortable and definitely not worth the retail price. I guess I was expecting to be blown away or maybe I just had high expectations. I sit in a chair 9 hours a day for work and then a few more hours at night and on weekends. Overall, I'd say it's a good investment. It was packaged great and easy to set up. Knowing that there's a 12 year warranty helped a lot. I got 2 cheap chairs from Amazon and couldn't wait to get rid of them. This Steelcase leap should last me a long time to come.”
“Easily the most comfortable office chair which I have sat in. I bought the refurbished chair specifically for the return policy as it's very difficult to try high quality chairs out in stores for your liking, you need to specifically sit in them for hours.
This is an office chair, not a recliner to watch TV in, the chair is firm for sitting for 8-10 hours at a time but not firm to the point where your body would hurt. It provides the needed support to your back to not feel fatigued from the chair.
Users will need to take the time to position the seat and height correctly which took a few days of trial and error as I left the setting for the day to see if it got better or worse. Once dialed in the chair is fantastic.”
“The upholstery was in brand new shape. The fit was good for an office chair but I was looking for a chair that would work as desk chair and an arm chair in my den. When I sent it back so I could get an armchair for my den They refunded my money with no questions asked. I would order from this company again if I was looking for an office chair.”
