“I bought this chair because as advertised there is no assembly required, which was great for me. This company does not tell that you have to remove the seat with tools that not every household has and do an adjustment to the seat because while it's being shipped goes out of adjustment and needs to be tightened so that the chair doesn't sink while you're in it. I had to inconvenience someone to come to my home an adjust it. They send you a video to watch to adjust it. I then wanted to send it back because the people in the video make it look so easy but it is not. So returning it is even worse. You have to have a mallet or some other tool I did not have to take it apart. You need at least two people to do this. And you have to watch a video to do that as well. I finally had someone over to take the seat off and get underneath to adjust it and it worked fine. It's just an okay chair. Nothing spectacular. Not for that high price tag. So after two months of using it, it is doing the same thing it did when it arrived. whatever height you put it at, it starts to sink down.”

“I bought a refurbished Steelcase Leap V2 office chair.
1. I did a lot of research on ergonomic office chairs before buying this chair. It appeared to be the best for the cost and my need..
2.BTOD has very good information on reviews of the Leap V2 chair. It also has one of the clearest and most straight forward descriptions of what the refurbishing process is that they are using over many other refurbishers who's process of refurbishing is not well explained.
3.They are very clear about their return policy if the product does not meet the customers expectation. This is an area where many refurbisher' are purposely vague. BTOD is very clear on their return policy and what the company is responsible to pay in returning the product. It is clearly the least cost return policy.
4. The order process was easy. I ordered the chair online 7/29/2021 and it was shipped on 7/30/2021.
5. The product was shipped Fedex. It arrived in a substantial carton. with very clear instructions to assemble the three pieces - chair body, base, and gas cylinder. Out of the box it appeared brand new. expected some scratches, but nothing like that detectable. It looked brand new.
6. I used the Learning Center setup procedure. It was very clear and helpful in setting up the chair. The setup of this chair is very important to it's comfort.
7. It is the very best office chair I have ever had. it is very comfortable and matched the reviews that I read. I have been using the chair for about a month.
