After suffering from back pains, I purchased a Leap v2 and am pleased. Chair is really too heavy for one to install base, but easy for two people. Refurbishment is excellent. Hard to tell from new. Quality has been maintained through the referb. I am happy.

Very happy with my purchase of refurbished Steelcase Leap V2. Was a little baffled at first without much instructions how to operate the levers but finally looked under the armrests and all the diagrams I needed were there.

Delivery was quick - under a week. I'm very happy with the Leap V2. In comfort, it's comparable to my Aeron chair and it seems like it will last many years. I ordered the vinyl upholstery and polished aluminum frame. Vinyl looks great but it does not appear that BTOD made any attempt to refurbish the aluminum frame. The legs are covered with hundreds of scratches from the shoes of the previous occupants. BTOD could have made an effort to polish those out.

Amazing quality! The chair was really clean and the upholstery was done perfectly. Just note, this is not a "New chair", so my shiny aluminum frame had scratches on it and is to be expected. Everything else is fantastic, cleaned really well, wheels are silent, and mechanisms work just fine. The minor appearance flaws are totally fair when you are saving over 500 dollars on this chair.

I ordered a Steelcase chair on June 30, and in the order screen is a field for special instructions/comments. In that field I wrote "This is a business address, so delivery has to be Mon-Fri between 9A and 5P". The next day (Jul 1) I got an email that said my order had shipped, and it included a FedEx tracking number, and when I clicked on it, it showed the shipment as a *residential* delivery, for *Saturday* July 3! I immediately sent a note to BTOD's customer service, and got a reply from Ryan, who told me that he "went ahead and had the package held for you. They're going to give you a call when it's ready to be picked up" from a local FedEx location. I wrote right back to Ryan and said that I'm not going to drag a 55 pound box from FedEx to my office; that's not what i signed on for. He then replied that he clarified with FedEx that the chair would be delivered to my office on Tuesday, after the long July 4 weekend. Next thing you know, I see in FedEx tracking that they're holding the box at the FedEx office, waiting for somebody to sign for it and pick it up. I sent another note to Ryan, and he replied that they're going to ship it to me after they send it back to the local FedEx sorting location. After a week of waiting, the tracking status never changed (waiting for pick up), and FedEx eventually sent the box back to BTOD. I asked Ryan for a refund, and fortunately I got it without having to chase after him. I wanted to contact the president of the company (Greg Knighton) to let him know how badly the order had been handled, and I found out that there is no way to contact him. If you do a search, there is no email address for him anywhere, and you can't even connect with him or send him a private message on LinkedIn. He obviously doesn't want anybody to contact or complain to him. What a way to run a company. I recommend that you buy a chair somewhere else.

I have had chronic lower back pain on and off for 40 years and never imagined a chair could make such a huge difference. My husband started researching chairs when I was offered a new job (sitting at a desk) 40 hours a week at home. He bought the perfect chair. Honestly, virtually no pain at all. Aside from a few scratches on a knob the chair looks brand new. All adjustments work as described. And all around we are very pleased with our purchase.

BTOD was fantastic in any questions I had. Prompt, helpful when I would call to choose this chair. Would not hesitate to buy from again refurbish or not. They have a great selection of new chairs by several top companies and have many videos on Youtube to help you with choosing or anything else. Great refurbish job, got it fast via Fedex Ground. Sharp looking chair, many adjustments including adjustable arms (my choice) and adjustable lumber support. Again both product and company 5+ stars.
