That said, the Christmas Forest is London’s favourite independent retailer – or treetailer – of real Christmas trees.

“We have been buying Christmas trees from the Christmas Forest for 5+ years and have always been happy with the service and trees. Sadly this year we are disappointed with the tree delivered. The tree is the right bight but quite thin and not up to the usual standard. This would be okay (but not great) but the icing on the cake”

“Lovely full tree But only 6ft 3inches and we ordered a 7ft tree. Also inadvertently paid for a room delivery when we only wanted it in the garden so we could soak it for a few days”
