I bought this as a birthday present for my friend and he was not disappointed. The cooking class was good fun and the restaurant staff were really friendly and very engaging. I would definitely recommend this cooking class as a birthday or anniversary gift or even a date night. One small piece of feedback, the restaurant doesn’t provide copies of the recipes. We were simply told to “Google them” - a shame really as that would be a nice addition and I know from personal experience other classes provide the recipes.

Really interesting food and very delicious too. Nazareth is very kind and patient. The injera bread was amazing and I bought some flour from her to try at home

What an amazing class, we loved making the sourdough flat breads in particular and the delicious meal together at the end. Such a warm welcome and incredibly well organised.

This was a brilliant class. You make the classic Ethiopian savoury pancake (but I think it would even be done sweet) alongside three dishes - one protein filled, one veg and one which is a heavy sauce. There were 10 of us in the private class. Nazareth took us through her cuisine with care and passion - explaining the spice mixes and textures throughout. It’s all about the Teff flour, Berbere and chickpea flour. You have enjoy ingredients and space to work on your double electric hob. No chopping needed. Time flew by and you can taste as you go and you eat your creation at the end and what’s wonderful is that the pancake (injera) is also a plate, cutlery and carb - think a spongy chipati. Anyway, STRONGLY recommend this class. What a great way to experience Ethiopian cooking in a BEAUTIFUL setting with such a genuine cook who just wants to share great food. 5 stars.

Nazareth was brilliant and the class was great. We all got to make our own injeras and three toppings and then ate these afterwards. The venue is very atmospheric too. Highly recommend!

I liked it :) We started with a bunch of pre-made spices and ingredients and then proceeded to make injera (a type of bread) ourselves from a starter. Our teacher then guided us through the cooking process of three separate dishes (a spicy chicken, a garlic-ginger-turmeric veggie stir fry and a chickpea soup-alike). After, we sat down with the participants and ate with our hands, as it has to be done :) Our teacher guided us through the process well and the food packed flavour. If you're looking for Ethiopic taste, have a look.
