Generation 1, Steel, Hot-surface Igniter for Comfortbilt Pellet Stoves Reviews

4.1 Rating 204 Reviews
I don’t think igniters last year as long as they should. I’m not real happy with that and like I said to burn pot the year after I got second winter cracked, I already put three knickers in in two years. That’s pretty bad.

I have had the stove approx. two years and so far relaced the igniter 5 times. Considering I dont use the stove all summer the longevity of the igniters is extremely lacking!

Igniter is ok. Doesn’t last. Have bought 3 since I’ve bought the stove. Don’t see any reason to buy the more expensive igniter. If I have to buy another I’ll most likely buy a different brand of pellet stove

4 year old igniter finally gave up the ghost. The new gen1 igniter from Comfortbilt was relatively easy to install. My wife lined up and centered the new igniter with a paper clip from the front of the stove, as I tightened it down. Easy peasy. I expected a fight with the clip to disconnect the white. Absolutely no problem. Couldn’t be easier. The new igniter fired up the HP61 in under a minute. I’m very happy!
