“haven't used it yet...spare.
When stove is on a thermostat it would be nice if you had an "eco" mode so when the fan comes on it slows auger down, thus using less pellets.”
“I do wish the igniters were designed to last longer. While I understand there is a more expensive option, considering that it could take 7 to 8 months before starting up the stove again, I think the warranty should be specific to ignitions not time. Just my opinion. There is a flaw in the design as well. The igniter burst to what is the size of a pellet or bb then must have arc’s to the stove and blew out the fuse. This happened while the pot was in full flame thus causing a lot of smoke. I think the exhaust fan should have some sort of backup where it would continue to exhaust. You basically are in full panic to read the manual and find out why the power stopped, pull a fuse, put in a new one and resetting to get the manual operation in the exhaust. Hard to do when the stove is still lit and smoking. Likely a one off as I have had igniter failure but it never tripped a fuse before.”
“Expensive price for the part. The part goes out after 1000 lights. Which is every 4-5 months for us. It's our main source of heat for our old farm house. If we knew this, we wouldn't have bought the pellet stove. We have talked with customer service and they say to put it on a thermostat and it still didn't help. It is what it is now.”
“After the replacement for the new one I bought, it appears to be working correctly. This is the third year I have had this heater and I have put two or three igniters in. Other than the igniters going out everything seems to be great.”
