“Took the light out on an Arizona Elk hunt for its first outing. I was pleased with the amount of light it casted in camp and made it easy to cook in the evenings. Not thatâs rocket science, but once you figure out how to set the legs on the stand the rest is pull and play. I thought I had a full charge on the light when first used. I had it on high and was surprised when the battery drained as I didnât think I had it on too long. For the remainder of the trip I just ran it at quarter power which provided adequate light. A better constructed storage bag, like a CORDURA bag would have complemented the kit much better than the nylon provided.”

Thanks for the review! Itâs great to hear the LightRanger 1200 provided ample light in camp and helped with evening meals. Noting the leg setup helps, and yes, battery life can varyârunning on high will drain faster, so quarter power is a sensible option for longer use. “This product is the best product for what i need it for. But i am forced to buy one ever year or twice a year because the light is not nearly as water resistant as it needs to be. I would like a more water restitant version. sealed seems and a cover for the charge port. Also, there needs to be a way to order just the light. I have 4 or 5 stands and only one workling light. Being able to buy just the light would be great because i feel like i am wasting money!”
