We have been looking for more than 2 years for a telemedicine solution for cardiology and pulmonology. EKO is that solution. It is inexpensive, easy to use, secure and of the best quality of any device we have encountered. It is light, compact, works with my current stethoscope and the Bluetooth pairing with my phone is easy and fast.

I have used digital stethoscopes for nearly a decade. Eko markedly increases my ability to hear abnormal breath sounds or heart sounds even in an environment with a lot of background noise such as in a busy emergency department. Eko’s simple design makes it easy to clean and maintain the device. Kudos to the design team for advancing our ability to hear our patient’s cardiorespiratory disease.

This is the best electronic stethoscope ever!! and I've tried them all. You can easily compare what you'd hear normally to the digital enhancement. Even if you don't use the app this is a worthwhile investment

I've been using this scope for a few months now. They recently upgraded the microphone and the recording is great! It's a great way to teach students and residents by easily playing sounds back. For doctors working in the community, I've also found it a valuable way to connect with patients and family by playing their heart sounds for them. If there's pathology, they really seem to appreciate hearing their murmur. There is no other stethoscope like this. I can easily shut off the digital and now I still have my same stethoscope! Genius!!!

This is the future of the stethoscope. Incredibly versatile....can use it like a normal analog stethoscope but can easily switch to digital mode, which allows you to record heart and lung sounds, playback these sounds, and upload them to an EMR. I've used the Eko stethoscope to teach medical students and PA students, as well as to present heart sounds in lectures.

Easily attaches to your own stethoscope (I use a Littmann Cardio III - Eko Core only works with single tubed stethoscopes) or can be purchased with a high quality stethoscope as part of the bundle. It is small and lightweight allowing it to be kept on your stethoscope at all times. It stays powered off 98% of the time and only needs charged 1-2 times per month. The Eko Core has noise reduction and sound amplification so it has helped tease out some grade 1/6 murmurs and I can alway send questionable recordings easily with the iPhone/iPad application to a colleague for a second opinion. Also is a handy tool for educators to save and share recordings to help learners learn the art of auscultation.

Wellsmart has adopted the Eko Core stethoscope into our practice, because we believe that patients should have access to information from their physical exam and not just their medical records. Eko Core is a digital stethoscope which uploads as an audio file, your real heart sounds. This allows doctors to follow murmurs over time for changes, and is a great way to educate patients.
