“I really have found my EKO enhanced Littmann Cardiology III Stethoscope to be a total game changer! I'm an Emergency Medicine Intern, and the ER is constantly noisy and using the stethoscope is often been a challenge. However, the EKO has made using my stethoscope easy and practical again! Even in trauma situations with lots of noise and shouting going on around me, I'm able to clearly hear heart and breath sounds. Further, auscultating our more ample citizens has been significantly aided with this device attached to my stethoscope. I would definitely recommend this device to anyone needing to auscultate heart or lung hear in a noisy environment, or anyone trying to hear more nuanced sounds from either the heart or lungs. Lastly, and separately, I would like to disclose that I have moderate hearing loss in my left ear and mild hearing loss in my right ear. This device has greatly improved my ability to hear heart sounds even in quiet settings. The volume amplification is significant, and I expect this device to have a profound effect on my practice of EM over my career.”
