“My daughter is a PA student currently doing an ER rotation. She already had a quality Littmann Stethoscope that she likes and uses often. I learned about the EKO and thought the product was innovative and would make a good gift. She loved it and enjoys using it. Sound amplification, noise cancellation and the ability to record what she is hearing to present to her preceptors or patients is of value to her. It is also nice to have the phone software that confirms what she is hearing. It was easy to install on her stethoscope although it required some scary pulling to remove the bell. Once the end piece (bell) was removed the attachments fit securely and as shown. My only disappointment was the free engraving. It is very hard to see. You almost need lighted loops to find it. Since it was free, I have no gripe, but it would be impossible to use to identify your stethoscope quickly or if it was next to an identical scope with different or no engraving. The engraving should be improved.”

“The eko core is going to be a good addition to my littman cardiology. The installation was easy. I was a little concerned with the tightness of the pieces going together but they are holding up fine so far. Getting the volume set so there isnt too much fabric scrub takes time to tweak to your liking. I hope it holds up.”

“I look after My wife as a caregiver, and almost deaf. I cannot hear what most folks do.. I purchased this unnit to help mme hear heart and lungs, and to record EKG readings. It works well, and maybe too well for me, because it picks up the least little movement. Our PCP used it and was liking it, but also noticed the unwanted noise form the amplification. We both wear hearing aids with Bluetooth, and that is a small problem.. All in all a very nice and easy unit to use...”
