“While still active at 68, the ears aren't what they used to be. The Eko CORE Digital attachment added to my Littman Master Cardio stethoscope has made auscultation much easier. When combined with the Eko app with murmur detection gives practitioners another tool for effective diagnosis.”

“I am pleased with the functionality of the attachment in that it works well, however, it is not very secure! The attachment pieces sent with it to connect it to my cardiology IV stethoscope feel “cheap” and are flimsy. I constantly have to tighten the attachment back down and “screw” the pieces back together on both sides of the CORE attachment. Even the screw in connectors on the Core feel like I’m going to break them when I put them on. One of my colleagues bought the entire stethoscope with the Core attachment and it is a world of difference how much better their setup is (everything fits and doesn’t move). Only other issue I have is that I bought a case to protect this stethoscope not knowing that the assembled stethoscope does not fit in the case. I find that moderately annoying.”

“This is a great step from the built in electronic stethoscope. I mostly use this without the earpiece screwed in, I Bluetooth to my phone, and then wired headset with my radio and phone and I can do an assessment without having to take my headset off, make an effort get my body over the PT to get the bell to every spot on the PT, it is so much better. Needs a micro USB port plug to protect the port, where are all the clean dry PTs at?”

“I have used the EKO for 2 years in Airborne precaution rooms. It is great because unlike a regular stethoscope, you don't need to be face to face and 27 inches away from the patient to use it. If patient will not cooperate fully with masking or positioning, he or she can place it on their chest and you can stand 6 feet away. 2 issues. Doesn't always immediately pair again if turned off and on again and EKO will not repair it when off warranty, so I had to buy another when the battery failed”

“I bought this because I’m currently in school for becoming a paramedic and currently working on the truck now, I have a heard time hearing the lung sounds in the back with other people talking or the road noise, getting this with the noise canceling feature makes it a dream and my own studio. I’ve even gotten a few of our medic to purchase it because they love mine so much and keep trying to take it.”

“I work as a veterinarian so my patients have a lot of hair. Unfortunately the interference from the fur is so loud using the EKO that it makes it hard to hear much else. The app constantly says heart murmur detected likely from interference. I'd imagine on a person this would be much more useful bc they breath when asked and don't wiggly around during examination. Nice idea but overall disappointed for the reason I purchased it.”
