Great addition to my Littman Cardiology IV stethoscope. Helps isolate valvular sounds which especially comes in handy in the overweight/deep chested canines. Wish the app was a little more supportive of veterinary use. Other than the app, very satisfied.

I thought I was able to hear everything with my regular cardiac IV but after trying the Eko I realized I was missing A LOT!!. I definitely recommend getting the attachment. It is easy to assemble.

Nice enhancement to patient care but like everything else in the medical field it’s pricey, glad I got it on discount. I’m not sure how it will hold up to the rigors of urban or high volume EMS systems but we will see. The engraving is a bit light and not easy to read. FYI, I wouldn’t go the full 18 characters on the engraving, stick with 15. Mine spilled over into the power indicator and now my first initial glows when the device is on.

Haven't been able to use it yet because the chest piece still hasn't arrived, even though the shipping status says it has.

Started my clerkship two and a half weeks ago and I was really struggling with hearing heart and lung sounds. My preceptor recommended a stethoscope amplifier and oh my gosh it has made such a difference. Just a couple days ago I was able to correctly identify a new onset heart murmur on a patient which the doctor confirmed and she was able to be sent for follow-up. Big win! If you’ve been faking it til you make it with heart sounds, get yourself an Eko CORE digital attachment.
