I am a new nursing student and I am hearing impaired and wear a Bluetooth hearing aid and this attachment is amazing! I was in awe when I used it for the first time. I am still learning how to use it and all of that but other than that it is amazing!

This was very easy to add onto my current stethoscope. When turned on, it's more sensitive, so incidental sounds like brushing against fabric are louder, but the diaphragm is in place, it makes a clear difference in the character of what you can hear: there is less interference from outside noises like voices, cell phones or TVs, and heart and breath sounds are enhanced. I felt like I could hear more of the spectrum of frequencies, and better characterize murmurs and breath sounds. You can always push the button to off to get the traditional unprocessed sound you're used to. One suggestion: put the chestpiece in place on the chest in the open / unprocessed position, then turn on to compare the difference in sound.

I have a moderate high frequency hearing impairment. I wear Phonak behind the ear hearing aides (with bluetooth bulit in). I also work in a noisy ER and EKO really works well for me. I can stream directly into my hearing aides and I hear breath sounds, heart sounds, bowl sounds and bruits with surprisingly good clarity. Thank you for this. It has significantly improved my clinical accumen. It’s s also a pretty cool gadget that gets everyone’s attention

Easy to use and easy to attach. Very effective amplification that drowns out surrounding sound for clear listening and accurate assessment. Highly recommend.

Works great. Easy to hear lung sounds and cardiac sounds. Especially in the back of a ambulance with siren running full blast. The app doesn't seem to work good. That may be my android phone.

I'm a Registered Nurse and have the CORE Digitial attached to my Littmann Cardiology IV. I initially purchased this device because the default stethoscope ear-tips are very uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. The CORE Digital allows me to use my Bluetooth headset with comfort. That being said, there is one major disadvantage to this device. The latency between the CORE Digital and any Bluetooth device is very distracting. While auscultating lung sounds, the chest rise and fall is visible before you hear any audio. Pros: Can adapt to all Littmann Stethoscopes Pairs easily to phones Amplifies Stethoscope bell audio Can be used without the phone Compact size and fits in my Stethoscope case Can easily be removed from the Stethoscope Noise cancellation removes most background audio Cons: Very noticeable latency between the CORE Digital and to any Bluetooth headset/earphones/headphones To record/send/analyze heart sounds, you need to register on the app If you remove your account, your email cannot be used in the future to use the app. If you pair the CORE Digital to a Bluetooth speaker, the audio is very faint Charges via Micro-USB
