“I borrowed this idea from one of the OMS residents at the university where I teach: The EKO CORE can be set up with a precordial bell and the pediatric connector (included with the CORE) for monitoring airway and heart rate during IV sedation. We use the App to Bluetooth to earbuds or a speaker. There is a “similar” device in the dental/OMS market, however it’s entirely proprietary, so you are forced to use their Bluetooth products only. Most importantly, the EKO is a fantastic device to improve cardiac auscultation - particularly in a noisy environment. I liked it so much, I purchased a second CORE to have a dedicated, amplified stethoscope. I have no connection with the company. I just think many physicians will notice the obvious benefit the first time they use it. The cost is very reasonable and you won’t regret giving it a try.”

“I've used my new Eko CORE stethoscope for the past week and couldn't be happier with the purchase. I'm able to hear subtle murmurs without any difficulty and I believe I'm a better healthcare provider now. I'd recommend it to anyone on the fence about spending the money. It's worth it!”

“Eko CORE is letting me hear my patients better than I have in years. I am letting all my coworkers listen and all of their eyes pop open when I switch on the Eko! The only negative I have for it is that it needs a specialized holder that protects the piece when it is worn on the waist in a clip. That would be my ONLY critisism.”

“Coming into knowledge of this add-on piece has made listening to heart and lung sounds a little easier and "clearer" above all. Great tool for nursing students as well as practitioners”
