I was unsure about this product and originally thought it was an overpriced gimmick but that very quickly changed. I am a paramedic and was doing some work in the ER and had a pregnant trauma patient. I attempted to auscultate fetal heart tones with my standard stethoscope and was unable to, so I grabbed my buddies EKO and was easily able to auscultate a healthy and fast fetal heart tone. I knew right then and there this was the perfect companion for any clinician and bought the attachment for my stethoscope that day.

Has made it much easier to hear sound even though I am getting ready to retire in under a year thought this was a great investment

It's a very good tool. I should've gotten one sooner.

I can hear things that I wasn't able to before. Obese patients are very difficult to hear, and this technology helped! I love being able to record and listen later and share with peers when confused about the sound I am hearing.

I'm a PA in a Jackson, MS emergency department. Yesterday was my first day using the Eko Core attached to my Littmann Cardiology III. It was a standard busy day, lots of sick patients, lots of COVID testing. Being the "Provider in Triage", I noticed a young man signed in for "prescription refill". I ask the triage nurse to let me see him in the chair, and we bring him back, and he states "I just need my (antihypertensive) refilled." I ask, how long have you been out and why come in now? He replies, "it's been about a week, but today when playing basketball, I had a slight pressure in my chest". Seems reasonable, he has follow up with primary care, maybe his pressure spiked. I listen to normal lung sounds with the Eko, then go to listen to heart sounds. His rate is about 250. We move him into a resuscitation bay and ultimately have to sedate and electrical cardiovert the young man - SVT back into NSR. All of this to say, day 1, and I feel that your device has saved a life, prevented a bad outcome. With standard auscultation, and the patient's presentation, I'm not sure I would have caught the acuity of his condition so easily. Thank you for making a great product, you have a true fan in this PA!

If you are done bending over listening to lung and heart sounds while in close proximity to a patients mouth, then this is the only choice! I am a Tele nurse with average 6-8 patients q4 vitals, currently rocking Covid units, so this works! Also, I can save 15 second recording of the sounds for the respiratory therapist or hospitalist to review.
