I am pleasantly surprised how well this works. For those of us that are getting hard of hearing it is a very useful tool. The app has a function to change from wide range to cardiac or pulmonary exams which seems to work very well. Charge seems to last a long time. Do not really notice a big difference with ambient noise cancellation. None the less would highly recommend.

I use my stethoscope without the amplification most times. Sometimes I need the amplification for distant heart sounds. With the amplification I can hear distant sounds, without the extraneous sounds being amplified.

This CORE Digital Attachment has been a great benefit to me. I am a physician assistant. I now can use my bluetooth hearing aids while seeing patients. Before this device, I had to leave my hearing aids out while working in order to use my standard stethoscope.

I was a little hesitant about spending the money on this after I had just bought a new Littmann Cardiology IV stethoscope a few months previously, but I am glad I did. As much of an improvement as the Littmann was over my previous stethoscope, it was still tough to hear. Now, I can almost hear too much! I work in an ICU with all the pumps, alarms, vents, and other equipment alarming constantly but now I don't have an issue with hearing the heart and lung sounds. Definitely worth the money!

I purchased Eko stethoscope because I want to be more comprehensive in assessing my patients. I also use the Eko to teach my son the most accurate heart and lung sounds. Excellent medical tool.

I bought the core to put on my own stethoscope, I like the fact that it can be removed and placed in a glove because I take care of many Covid patients I need to use full PPE

Day one I heard a tricuspid murmur I might not have caught without amplification; the patient is recently post-covid and was quite sick while admitted. His echo is pending to look for elevated RVSP. Installation and use is quite easy, but I've seen two issues - one, the threaded fitting is prone to coming loose if the Eko twists; a little thread tape fixed that. Two, there is no cap available for the charging port. Given the focus on clean we all deal with, this could allows liquid cleaner residues to get into the port and corrode it, effectively killing the device. This could be solved by a simple silicone dust cap on a leash that could stay on the stethoscope all the time. I am hopeful that Eko provides this option soon. Love the ease of use, and the option to turn the device off and still listen is great, but a little effort to address these issues would earn five stars. There are also a substantial number of physician assistants and nurse practitioners providing medical care. Not having those choices in the "about me" section below is a concerning oversight.
