“I am a nursing student born with profound hearing loss in my left ear and moderate loss in my right. I was very nervous to get tested on my ability to hear body sounds due to my inability to distinguish certain sounds. I purchased the Eko Core Digital Attachment and it works PERFECTLY with my own personal stethoscope. I am able to hear everything now! I love the app that goes with the device too! Thanks for relieving my anxiety and enhancing my own performance. Looks my disability might actually give me leg up this time.”

“The ECO appears to be well made with good battery life. It was very easy to install. It seems to amplify sounds as billed. I don't know about 40x, but it certainly is notable. I am disappointed in the app as it appears that the playback is too quiet to use as a teaching tool. I have recorded multiple heart, lung and bowel sounds and the playback is quieter than actually listening to a standard stethoscope. I have tried all I know to do and cannot get any useful playback. In practice, I certainly hear better with the ECO, but as a teaching tool, it has not been useful”

“The core is easy to integrate into your current stethoscope. The app is easily set up. You have to tell the patient to be quiet or you pick up a lot of artifact including stomach sounds. The pulse usually does not show for me. Recording does not work unless you pay for service. Due to that You may consider looking elsewhere.”

“I saved and saved until i could get this! Makes all the difference. I wouldn’t say I’m hard of hearing but i could never hear clear sounds whether it be lungs or heart. This made all the difference for me. Absolutely LOVE it.”

“I really like the amplification of the Eko, but I am a little disappointed in the fit of the attachment. I have a Littman stethoscope which is not a pediatric stethoscope and I had to just the pediatric adapter. No problem except that the adapter still does not have a snug fit. I am concern the CORE Digital Attachment (Eko) will disconnect with use.”
