“I am a PA specializing in cardiology. I’m still working out how to use this. I paired it with my Littmann master cardiologist stethoscope. It amplifies quite well. I find that noise from the patient diaphragm interface is amplified as well as the signal of interest. It would be nice if it was possible to roll of high, or low, or both frequency extremes to tune into what you need to hear. I’m experimenting with the volume control. Breath sounds are tricky when amplified and I seem to not get all the nuances of chest auscultation I’m used to from an un-amplified signal. Patients can make a lot of vocalizations during a chest exam and unfortunately these noises get boosted to. It’s an interesting device that is, for me, a work in progress.”

“I was nervous when the ship date came and went with no notification, and when I called to find out what was going on, there was a phone glitch, which made me nervous. My credit card had been charged long before the ship date, so I was worried it was a scam. BUT, it has come, is easy to install and works very well . I am trying to find the right amplification so as not to have too much crackle from clothing or gowns interfering with the breath sound and heart sounds. I would definitely buy again. Cynthia Point”

“I am a 2nd year resident physician. This attachment does what the company says - amplify sounds. It has been helpful in diving into and analyzing murmurs. I get the “Wow, what is that? Let me try it” quite often. However, I have been having trouble filtering out heart sounds when I am listening to the lungs and vice versa. That, I presume, is a work in progress. I am satisfied with the product and will be willing to try anything better than this in the future. The charge lasts longer than what I expected. I have been using it on a single full charge for over 2 weeks now. Recorded sounds are easily audible via headphones.”

“The sound and ability to block out residual noise around the patient is exceptional. The only problem is that the device does not fit well on all stethoscopes and can cause the bell to easily fall off. There should be some way to prevent this.”
