I am a nurse practitioner student and find this stethoscope to be a total blessing as I am able to hear minor details that I would not be able to pick up with my other stethoscope. I am seriously considering purchasing the DUO ECG + Digital stethoscope after graduation. Thank you so much, Eko! My only disappointment was that I had to wait 7 (seven) weeks to the day to receive my stethoscope. Hopefully Eko would solve this issue in the future as it is torture not to have this beauty to work with.

Thank you! (and no, there will never be a delay issue again).

I have been using the second generation core stethoscope for about two weeks now. It is a better analog stethoscope than my old Littmann and the amplification is very helpful. I find the core to be an excellent enhancement to everyday medical practice.

I have just started using the CORE stethoscope in the last 3 weeks. At the moment I am not using the accompanying app. I work in a prison, so the exam space is not very private and the noise level can be overwhelming. I am blown away by the quality of the amplification and noise cancelling features. This has truly made a significant improvement in my ability to provide better care to the patients I serve. Would like to be able to utilize the app, but no phones allowed. I am definitely pleased with my decision to invest in this product

I have been very please with the CORE. The volume control is a big plus and so is the option to switch back and fourth from digital to standard stethoscope.

Assessment of lung and other bodily sounds can be quite difficult in the field. My hearing is horrible so I have had an amplified stethoscope for years. I made the move from the Littmann 3100 due to it breaking twice. I hope the Eko is a bit more sturdy. I have only had for a month or so, but so far I am satisfied with the Eko. I do wish the buttons were a bit more discernible to the touch or lighted as I work nights. I will say, thus far I have not heard a lot of tube noise that I use to with the 3100. However, I believe the 3100 was able to amplify better... not much. I do not know if the reduction in tube noise is due to the noise cancellation. I have noticed that I have to adjust one side in order to hear better, but that may just be my oddly shaped head. I love that it is rechargeable. I would suggest the Eko to other paramedics. Thus far, my biggest gripe was the significant delay in shipping after their product launch, but worth the wait.

I have been an avid user and collector of digital stethoscopes. As a physician informaticist and faculty with teaching responsibilities, the newest edition of the CORE Digital Stethoscopes not only result in a far superior product compared to its predecessor. This stethoscope retains its familiar operations from its first generation predecessor but the aesthetic is refined and sublime. When I carried the previous generation Eko CORE, I did answer questions at to 'what is that thing?' from a med student or resident. When I demonstrated a patient with aortic stenosis and was able to record the sound for further analysis out of the room, students had a jaw dropping experience. Often times I would demonstrate the use of the Eko not only to trainees but patients as well. I most recently picked up a mitral regurgitation in a young lady who thought previously she had no issues. This was confirmed by ultrasound. As a primary care physician, I referred my patient to also consult cardiology. The fit, finish and function of the Eko CORE is a truly rare piece of disruptive clinical equipment that finally digitalizes the physicians medical bag. With IOS and Android OS compatibility and leveraging recording features and telemedicine transmission features, the Eko CORE sets a new standard in the stethoscope. Period.
