“In terms of how well it amplifies heart sounds, it is great. Headpiece swivels too easily from bell to diaphragm. Metal used on attachment point from tube to body of device is of poor quality aluminum. Threads crossed and now permanently stuck. Should be steel if it is going to last. This happened on second day of use.”

“I was hoping to be able to use it in my practice for assessment of heart sounds of infants delivered by C/Section. We are doing delayed cord clamping anywhere from 60 seconds to 180 seconds. It would be great to put the portable part in a sterile glove and listen for heart beat greater than 60 to know the infant is ok. I just wish the volume could be turn up a little to be able to hear it from a little distance away. Although Someone could be observing the screen and report to me the heart rate. I realize this isn’t what it was developed for but it would work in a pinch giving me peace of mind while waiting. Full disclosure I haven’t used it yet in that capacity, mainly because I haven’t attended a C/Section birth lately. I am scrubbed in and sterile when I attend so having someone drop it into a sterile glove I’m holding and hopefully not getting contaminated I could potentially use it to assess heartrate.”

“Love the stethoscope just wish that there was a case to put it in and carry. So that I can just grab it and use it when I need the bell I can take it out and use it”

“As an electronic stethoscope it is better than the Littman. The sound to my hearing aids and iPhone is not good enough to use. I am disappointed but will keep and use anyways.”

“I’m a critical care RN and now a covid specialized RN . The extra precaution of multiple PPE and social distancing myself from my patient this stethoscope is a game changer for me . I wear a pappr enclosing my ears and the Eko stethoscope has become my lifeline in caring for my patient . I highly recommend this stethoscope .”
