“The auscultation is excellent even in ICU breath and cardiac sounds crystal cleat but the connection between the piping and digital head not aligned and loose very strange for such a expensive stethoscope”

“This is what I needed to help me as a nurse doing assessments.. with a regular stethoscope I often could simply not auscultate heart and lung sounds. The EKO amplifies so now I’m confident in assessing patients.”

“It's a solid and quality digital stethoscope that let's you hear faint cardiac murmurs which may not be easily detected using conventional stethoscopes. The chest piece can also be gently washed and cleansed with an alcohol pad after each use to prevent cross-contamination. It also holds the charge for days. One issue which I noticed when I first got the stethoscope was loose screw connection on either side of the digital attachment, making the attachment get separated from the rest of the stethoscope right inside my pocket. This happened twice, but after I tightened the screws, the problem did not recur. As for recording heart sounds on my iPhone, Bluetooth works perfectly well. It actually works very well when I record my own heart sounds, but on some "patients" I get lot's of interference, especially when they keep moving or continue breathing.”

“Perfect stethoscope to work with all my PPE. Love that I can maneuver easier under a patient’s clothing to listen and I don’t feel like I’m invading their personal space too much. Amplification is amazing and doesn’t distort the sound. Wish Eko had an Apple Watch app that would allow me to link to my watch and change between heart, lungs, and bowel settings without having to get my phone out. That would make it even better.”

“I got this stethoscope hoping I could hear through my blue tooth hearing aids. That did not work well but the soft ear tips allow me to use the stethoscope with my hearing aids in and I hear amazingly well!”

“I use this stethoscope for several months now. Before this I had 2 different Littman electronic stethoscopes. The good thing is that it has good sound quality, and that it also can be used as a normal stethoscope, which is great when the battery is low. I prefer the sound quality over the Littman, and it is great that it is rechargeable, and don’t need AAA batteries. One disadvantage is that is tends to unscrew itself when I put it in my jacket. So every morning I have to screw it to prevent that it falls apart.”

“I have never been so excited to use my stethoscope on a daily basis. The audio and clarity of sound are great and I feel more confident hearing sounds and in giving patient’s advice. I have been whole heartedly recommending this stethoscope to anyone I work with and give them an opportunity to listen.
