Love it. I love tech and this definitely makes me nerd out. Fantastic sound. Pneumonia went from crackles to actually hearing the fluid percolating. I’m EM, so the EKG not super necessary for me, but it puts on a good show for my patients. We spend time, I SHOW them I’m paying attention. Worth it.

I am hearing impaired and for many years I had difficulties during my undergraduate nursing course because I could not use ordinary stethoscopes. Teachers even said that this profession was not for me because I could not do auscultation satisfactorily. Everything changed with the arrival of Eko Duos. After years in the queue and made all the bureaucratic procedures of Brazil, I got a copy of this wonderful Stethoscope. For the first time in my life I had autonomy to perform auscultation, I finally got the normal and abnormal sounds of the human body. It is being an accessibility device, with loud, clear and distinct sounds, allowing good results in my headphones. Thank you very much Eko team for providing me with my inclusion in society, in addition to thanking Professor Vilma who believed in me, helped me before and after this new journey with Eko Duos.

It works! Very easy to use and informative tool to detect atrial fibrillation. The suprisingly good quality, very well filtered one lead ecg recording and the syncronized heart sounds are clearly valuable information, easy to interpret. All in one device, in a small form factor. The upcoming automatic interpretation will be a nice addition. I am very satisfied, this is a real help for a GP. Sometimes it is useful to detect the presence or absence of heart activity, electric and mechanical. It is possible to present lung sounds to the patient, improving involvment of the patient. No need to wet the electrodes in most cases.

The DUO is super fun to play with, used now on a couple dozen pateints and sound wise, sounds great. Patching the bluetooth to the screen and recording brings up problems like takes almost a min or two to connect and working in EMS we worry about recording pateint info, that could be problematic if pateint or supervisor found out. That makes people incorrectly start quoting HIPAA rules. Blah blah blah etc. But I'll keep it. And buy one for my RN wife to use since it can be so useful. The ecg is less than accurate at best.

Works well. I hope to use in clinical situations where obtaining a routine ECG is impractical
