I purchased actually 4 but meant to get only 2 and didn't realize I needed to put the code word on SOUND but I immediately wrote and was promised the discount on 2 and refund on the other 2. From Roby Sherman, MD bsher68@aol.com 4/14/21 I'll give a review later. Thank you! Please answer.

I love my stethoscope. I’m still figuring it out. One thing I do not like is how easily the ear pieces fall off. They need to be more secure. I’m still trying to figure out how to record without having my phone open I’m sure there is a way. I’ve only had my stethoscope for two weeks but so far so good. I did have an instance where I was trying to monitor a patients ecg and the app did not calculate BPM which is what I needed.

I was undecided weather to get the DUO ECG or the EKO stethoscope .I decided to try the DUO ECG. after using a short time out in the field I found it difficult to get good scope readings or breath sounds . there was to much accumulative movement and noise around patient and surrounding scene. I think that in in mobile field use that (that I have experienced) I would get greater benefit using the EKO stethoscope.

I bought the stethoscope a couple of weeks ago. Put it together and used it a couple of times on myself. It is a wonderful piece of equipment, and I wish my hospital's IT telemedicine software would support it. Unfortunately it does not. I am therefore returning it. Sincerely Antonio S. I was sceptical at first. I have tried many "digital" stethoscopes with none living up to their promises. I work for an ambulance service with a high call volume, and every call I had to remove my hearing aid to use a stethoscope. The EKO has been a life, (and hearing aid) saver since I have lost a couple on scenes. It blue tooths directly to my hearing aids, and provides a clear sound that is needed, while cancelling out about 90%of all background noises. My partner loves how he can hold my phone and read a basic rhythm and get a quick, on scene idea of what he is facing before getting to the rig. The only change I would make, and it is strictly a personal preference, is if you could swipe drag to increase the size of the ECG reading. Other than that, it is perfect. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs or wants something better.

I am a physician who works in a busy urban emergency department. In the first couple of shifts with working with the DUO, the sound quality and ease of use has been great. The DUO replaces a Littmann 3100 electronic that I had before. The price of the Littmann 3100 is similar to the DUO, but the DUO quality and utility is superior in my opinion. It takes a few uses to get used to the rectangular form factor of the DUO, but after a while using it feels routine and normal. The 1 lead ECG is helpful, particularly in patients who are very tachycardic and I would like a quick look before a formal 12 lead. I have found it is faster and easier to have the patient hold the DUO in their hands, fingers from each hand on each lead, than to have them undress and place the DUO on their chest to get a quick look. The build quality has been good. After several shifts I haven't had to charge it yet. My only criticism would be that I have already lost one of the ear pieces - I just noticed it was gone into the abyss suddenly. For the price point, this shouldn't happen. Nonetheless, they do give you some replacements but I hope it doesn't happen again. Overall, I think the value of this stethoscope is great and I would recommend it in the ER setting.
