“I give this 5 stars solely for the stethoscope itself. I absolutely love it. At times I have even had people at work asking to borrow it to assess their patients. The only negative thing I will bring up is that it can be difficult to pair with the android app. Sometimes it will pair, sometimes not. If It doesn't, I have to clear the app cache and then it will pair again. However, I still give 5 stars as I am only reviewing the stethoscope itself and not the app.”

“First usage out in the field was great! I have noticed a little static coming through my hearing aids, but other than that is seems to work really well.”

“I purchased the DUO ECG + recently. When I unpacked it, the unit functioned fine. I found the quality of sound, despite making adjustments inasmuch as possible, disappointing. There is slight background noise which interferes with auscultation Of the silence between the major heart sounds. When I switched to listening with my old Littman, it was immediately evident the sound with the traditional scope was far superior.”

“I work in an ambulance and currently attending nursing school, I received this product to help with my assessment skills, and it works amazing. the ECG is very useful with standard patient and is easy to read and easy to use. I have used the littman 3200 which is more expensive, but if you can get pass the new design type and recognize its capabilities then it is a quick adjustment that is well worth it. I look forward to using this for the foreseeable future.”

“The sound quality is very good and so is the ecg recording. But I wish the phonocardiogram basal line was straight. The other suggestion would be the ability to slow the rhythm strip.”

“I have hearing impairment. I am also a cardiologist, so auscultating the heart is an important part of assessing the patient for me. I just got the Eko Duo, loaded the app on my iphone 11 and got it connected and recording--very easy. I also recently got fitted with Costco Kirkland 9 hearing aids (replacing a 7 year old pair). My hearing aids are connected with my iphone via bluetooth using an app proprietory to the hearing aide. I activated play from iphone from the settings for duo through the app. I am very pleased with the quality of sound transmission to my hearing aides during realtime auscultation and also for file playback. I do disconnect the duo from my iphone when I am done auscultating because noises from the duo concurrent with trying to listen to the patient can be a bit bothersome. Very pleased with the result. The disclaimer is that this is what works for me and what I have written does NOT imply any kind of approval of EKO or Costco hearing aids to be used together for auscultation of patients.”

“I find it useful to use and the algorithm works well. Being able to save patient information to hand off is great. There is a learning curve and wish the basic instructions offered a bit more in terms of placement for auscultation. On larger patients, it is more difficult to use.”
