I’ve been waiting for a product like the Eko Duo for years. As one would expect, it has a lot of strengths and I plan to use it regularly. It is very sensitive which takes some getting used to, however I quickly came to appreciate it especially combined with the range of amplification. The battery life is very good and the wireless charger convenient and non-proprietary. Bluetooth connection with the iPhone X is straightforward and the phone can remain simultaneously paired with another type of device, though the Duo only remains connected while the Eko app is active. The EKG feature is cool (for lack of a better word). It would be more useful if there were a way to measure intervals specifically. Predictably it has trouble with hair covered chests and small infants in whom it’s hard to keep both leads in contact simultaneously. I have not yet shared recordings with others. The earpiece is light and comfortable, but could be longer since it wouldn’t interfere with sound transmission like in acoustic stethoscopes. I have simultaneously paired my iPhone with wireless earbuds and the Duo to allow me to auscultation a challenging child while a parent holds and positions the Duo. I definitely works although the sound volume is reduced and it would be much more convenient if the wireless earbuds or headphones could be paired directly with the Duo. Since the earpiece is significantly lighter than the Duo, the center of gravity makes the stethoscope want to slide to the heavy side when it’s carried around the neck. I’m going to try putting a couple of small black zip ties strategically on the tubing to compensate. Overall, a very strong device, that I’m enjoying using, while also looking forward to version 2.0

Excellent in every respect. Wish chest piece was a little smaller (more ergonomically shaped) but it works so well I can’t really complain!

I have and love teh Eko stethoscope -- a true winner. I bought the Duo for the ECG component. I've been a bit disappointed. Once connected to the iphone or iPad, it plays the ECG and heart sounds via the phone's earpiece....there is no way play on speaker so that the sounds are heard clearly. The ECG lead placements are a bit combersome. The heart sounds aren't very great and the earpiece is simply low-quality headphones that plugs into the Duo.......honestly, I was expecting better. A few suggestions..... 1. Create a SMALLER FOOTPRINT! 2. Connectivity is great but this needs to be an enhanced user experience. I like to play the sounds for my patients on the iPhone....even better, on the iPAD. 3. Lose the earpiece -- that is soooooo 1980's... create stereo sound via the iPhone X S Max.....now that's how you 'think different'!

Heart Sound great, ECG portion was not as good with low aptitude and more baseline artifact. Duo hardware was easily scratched just for me carrying in brief case. Questionable for durability and longevity.

I love my Eko Duo. Reliable and easy to use. I love being able to record heart sounds and also allow my patients to listen in. It's a great tool for my practice.
