Sound quality with the Eko is excellent and able to auscultate heart, lung, abdominal sounds well. EKG tracing is a great feature, though lot of artifact on the tracing (EKG and phonogram) and I don't find the quality to be as good as my Kardia (Alivecor) tracings. Hopefully, some of this can be addressed with updates to the software. My only other complaint is that the head is quite bulky and sometimes awkward to apply to the patient's chest. That all said, I do not regret my purchase and am happy to retire out my Littman 3200 electronic stethoscope... Eko sounds much clearer.

Good in amplifying very quiet and subtle murmurs, this is especially important in busy and loud emergency department setting. ECG tracing is sometimes difficult to obtain due to movement/artifacts but overall I would rate it as 5/5 as it does provide certain advantages in difficult situations over classical stethoscope. I would also wish that algorithm/software updates are more frequent with more features added within the Eko app.

Patients love seeing their heartbeat and EKG on my phone. They are impressed that I have cool new tech also!

Best Electronic scope I have had. Good acoustics and high volume. EKG lead works well. I just wish the tube length was shorter, the unit ends up bouncing into my belt buckle

Meh. It’s a lot like the litman electronic stethoscope. Sound with the stethoscope earpiece is louder but not of better quality. Visualizing the sounds is helpful but would be improved if there was less artifact. Better made than thinklab one but no where near as good sound quality. Can be cumbersome size for use in pediatrics.

I am a practicing Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with some hearing loss and this is an excellent tool to have for the perioperative environment. I have picked up on Afib undiagnosed in the preop area with the EKG feature in a patient who had document SR on their preop EKG.

I'm a nerdy kinda tech guy and I love new tech products that I can use at work to make my day a little bit more fun. The Duo is one of those products. I don't always use my stethoscope to auscultate heart and lung sounds, so the Duo is a great device. I can attach my headphones and/or open up the App on my iPad mini and observed the sounds or ECG. Only issue I have is storing the device. My pockets are pretty full and It would be great to have a Belt clip or sleeve to protect the device. Hopefully soon Eko will create one.
