“The acceleration on this scooter is a beast, this is my third scooter and by far the apollo phantom v2 is incomparable. It's a completely different class of scooter. I was worried about the speed but this thing is built for it with zero shaking at high speed. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting insane acceleration and speed. The pothole filled streets of Chicago are no challenge for the suspension either, it's like riding on a cloud. Fast shipping and came double boxed which was a nice touch.”

“I purchased the Apollo Phantom V2 in mid February, and only yesterday, March 16th, did I get to take it out for a trial spin because we finally warmed up enough for this fair weather rider. All I can say is that I had a blast riding the Phantom and getting to know how it handles and how I need to respond to it, being that this is my first electric scooter (I'm an older guy so I am extra cautious). I found out that riding uses more muscles and muscle groups than I had imagined. I was quite tired by the time I returned from a 22 mile jaunt. That, and although it was 50°F, the wind chill of riding around 20mph had my hands blue with cold!
So, yes, the Apollo Phantom V2 (Mech. Brakes) is a total thumbs up. I actually upgraded to V3 before taking it out, and I really like all of the benefits of the upgrade, especially the Regen Brakes. I barely have to use the mech. brakes at all!”
