“I have owned my WideWheel Pro for a month and have enjoyed about 120 miles of travel. Here are my thoughts.
Negatives
Throttle - is overly sensitive leading to a jerky ride (easily solved with the $19 Fluid Freeride throttle upgrade with 3x the thumb travel)
Ride comfort – This is a negative and positive, depending on the surface. Wider obstacles, sand, something like a bolt in the trail and the WideWheel Pro is much more comfortable and safer than my Xiamoi m365 scooter. On broken up asphalt the vibration is worse on the WideWheel Pro.
Regenerative breaking – I was surprised the WW Pro doesn't have regenerative braking. Not a big deal with 22-30 miles of range and incredibly good brakes, just a surprise.
Positives
Performance – Such great acceleration which makes passing road bikes safer and the 26 mph speed keeps my time in bike lanes on busier roads shorter. I also feel safer going closer to the speed of traffic.
Range – I have taken 20 mile trips and the display shows plenty of charge left
Construction – Seems so solid. There is a wood slat bike bridge near my house that is very bumpy and I used to wonder if my xiaomi m365 scooter was going to fall apart. This just feels so much more solid
Appearance – Definitely a very cool look. I get lots of complements from people along the beach trails. Many ask questions and say this is the scooter they want.
Accessories – I love the upgraded throttle and am impressed with the Fluid bike lock and light add-on
In summary, if someone has already had some experience with a scooter and is ready for a little more of everything that makes scootering fun, get the WideWheel Pro. My experience has been terrific.”
“My wife and I went to Austin earlier in the year and rented a couple of electric scooters for the first time. We enjoyed them so much that figured that we would get our own some day. Well that day came sooner that we thought :) A couple months later, our daughter turned 9 years old and we figured we would use her birthday celebration as an excuse for getting a couple scooters. After a week of looking at all the options on the market, we decided to get 2 WW Pros. We were able to get a $100 discount coupon for each. They came in just 4 days after ordering, and so far they are super amazing! We only use them on weekends to have fun, but have had no problems so far. Except, they are super powerful and the acceleration was too strong for our daughter. So, we ended up getting a CityRider as a third scooter for her, and this was perfect! We tried, but didn't manage to get a discount coupon this time :(. The CityRider offered a very gentle take-off, but still got up to a descent speed pretty quickly. All in all, they are great, super-fun scooters, and we would recommend them to anyone.”
“ok so first of all the appearance of this scooter is like none other. People will defenitely be staring at it when you're riding in public!!!
The performance of it is incredible, in power mode averages around 23-26 mph but I I did hit 27 one time on flat ground which was really fun and thrilling. Honestly I thought 25/26 mph wasn't fast enough before getting the scooter but when you're actually on it it's more than enough haha
Haven't purposely tested the range but I've done around 21 miles with still about 30% battery left, so can probably do another few miles. (This was mainly on eco mode but I did maybe 3-5 miles in power mode FYI)
You do indeed feel the bumps more but it's not really a problem for me. Turning on this scooter is tricky at first because of its tires so you got to lean more into the turns.
Also make sure to check the brakes once in a while to before you ride because it can loosen up after a few rides.
In conclusion this scooter is very much worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone who's wants a faster/thrilling scooter than the ones you normally see on the streets and also one that just looks badass!!”
“As soon as I opened the box mine had problems it's almost like if I got a used/refurbished scooter. Front motor wasn't working,I had sparks and loud poppin sound from under the scooter.”
