WideWheel PRO CLE Edition with keylock Reviews

4.5 Rating 720 Reviews
I've had my scooter for about a month and a half. I love everything about it but the throttle. Can't wait to get your aftermarket one. I'm in DC. There are a few hills that it takes without even slowing down. It's pretty comfortable on normal city street bumps. Even comfortable enough on sidewalk bumps. I love it. I will always keep one.

We purchased two 2020 Widewheel Pro scooters and have owned electric scooters before. The build quality seems good and we are looking forward to more time on them as the weather in Oregon improves. My only suggestion at this point would be smoothing out the jerky power delivery.

The WideWheel Pro is a Badass looking and well built scooter, I was able to ride this in San Francisco up a very very steep hills around Taylor and California Streets at Nob Hill and it motored straight up without issue. Design, amazing! Power, amazing! Road feel and control amazing. Unfortunately the major problem with this scooter is the throttle, it is so sensitive that it can cause you a lot of problems. There is too much dead space between the time you push down on the throttle lever to the time it initiates and when it does it's instant launch mode there's no in between, that can cause havoc at intersections and around pedestrians, it's just massively flawed, It seems a little software update with the controller could fix this problem and if it was fixed I would buy the scooter again. Unfortunately I had to return it due to that issue and I bought myself a DualTron Compact that I love, but I paid twice as much. The controller system that dualtron uses allows you to have it set in modes that taper the throttle response so it doesn't want you so hard. I hope they let me know if this gets resolved, because if it does I will buy another one in a heartbeat!!!!

Thank you for your review. We already have an aftermarket throttle in production with greatly increased travel for much smoother take off. Will be available to ship at the end of March.

The scooter is nice only the tires are so small and the holes or potholes in the street feel very much a shock absorber would be very good since the suspension bounces, the design and speeds are so good

This scooter has almost everything. It's gorgeous, powerful, it has suspensions, disk brakes, it folds well and the range is good enough. The LCD is kind of meh, no bluetooth or anything fancy but it gets the job done. Now, if it wasn't for that the annoying throttle, I could say that I'm 90% happy. I just wish there was a reasonable alternative. On the other hand, FFR support is great. They reply quickly and they are very helpful. Also, the delivery was pretty quick.

Bought this scooter to get around horse show grounds quickly. Works great in dust/sandy paths. One suggestion: the acceleration is a bit too fast! It is NOT possible to go slow on this thing!
