“As some have noticed, the stock throttle is a little too responsive...some get used to it, but I wanted a smoother roll on for power. This throttle upgrade is well worth it - especially if you purchased your WWP through Fluid Free Rides. Installation was fairly easy. One hint...once you open the display, take a couple of pictures and even draw a small diagram for your reference. For me, it was the difference between being 100% sure of my connections vs mostly sure. I chose the #2 installation option of removing the handlebar grip and brake lever. I tried the recommended method, but I accidentally stripped the screw, so I just switched to method 2 and all went well. On removing the grip, I found it easier to remove if I rolled back the grip about an inch. Then it became much easier to pull on the grip and wiggle it around until it came off.”
“I did not have a problem with the original throttle but I decided to try the upgrade.... great choice! I can easily control my speed and acceleration with it. My children ride scooters that only go 9-10 mph and this throttle allows me to ride at their speed consistently. Definitely worth the upgrade”
