The light 2 is everything that was promised: light, zippy and good looking. It rides great (albeit a bit slow going uphill). The rear wheel is rubber filled (a change from online reviews) and is somewhat rough. I am considering buying a new tire and tube to replace it, though the elimination of flats it appealing. Fluid service is top notch. Had a broken mudguard when the unit arrived - customer service had one in the mail immediately for me. Kudos!

Needed a scooter to keep up with my girlfriends Alpha Hover-1. Didn't want to spend too much but wanted to get a decently priced well built scooter under $1k that was easy to transport. Fluidfreeride had many options avaliable. Finally decided on the Inokim Light 2 for its features and build quality in a lightweight package. Rode the scooter around Portland, OR over the weekend. Handled great for having a solid rear tire, has decent sized deck for balancing, dual drum brakes for longevity, and just a great overall clean look to it. After 2 hours of driving I'd only lost 1 bar of battery. Did have an issue with the locking pin for the folding mechanism coming lose, but was corrected with a little locktite. Overall I'm happy with the Inokim Light 2 but am still looking at getting a faster scooter (personal preference).

I ordered the Inokim Light 2 after what was probably 60+ hours of research looking at all types of scooters. It was super helpful to talk to the Fluid Free Ride team to help narrow down my choices, test ride scooters (really important in my opinion) and get other tips in general as a first time scooter owner. I ended up going with the Inokim Light 2 due to its portability, light weight, high top speed for its class, and beautiful design. It arrived a couple days earlier than projected, and the scooter is a beauty to behold that stands out from the rest. The only tips I'd give to new Inokim Light 2 owners is to understand the "push stem forward to unlock while pushing down the lever" mechanism for the stem, which is in the manual but isn't super clear. And also to lubricate the handle bar threading with graphite or another lubricant, as riding can tighten the joints where it becomes quite hard to unloosen. I'm a bit on the lighter side (~130 lbs), and I'm happy to report that I've been getting 25 miles on a single charge. I ride around NYC, and that is plenty enough to go to all the places that I want to go. I typically keep the speed to about 17-18mph on longer commutes, only using the 21mpg top speed for open straightaways (getting doored in NYC by cars is a real thing and 17mpg is plenty fast for most of NYC). The lack of suspension hasn't really been an issue for me outside of the occasional cobblestone streets that are around NYC. All around, really happy with my purchase and glad that I purchased from Fluid Free Ride.. the team is really helpful and amazing. Shout out to Chuck for being the man.

Easy to assemble and ride. I like the smaller frame and size but I could see how someone with larger feet may not be comfortable (I'm a 5'6'' woman with size 9 feet). Does downtown Seattle hills for my commute from LightLink to work just fine for me with the caveat that I'm a cautious rider around traffic and pedestrians. Perfect solution for the "last mile" of my commute.

This scooter looks sweet on the screen, the specifications looked great, lightweight, good ride quality and powerful fast, but upon receiving it, there were a few design flaws. First is the folding release lever, it's so stiff that I have to put the entire weight of my body on it to make it move and still it barely releases. My wife can't do it. Second is the stem, the diamond shape makes it hard to carry, and the side to side movement because it doesn't lock while folded makes it hard to handle carrying on the train and awkward weight distribution, it's not stable while carrying it if it will fit in your hands at all because of the diamond shape. You can't roll it on one tire while walking through the isle, it falls to one side. I'm trying to return it to get my money back as my wife can't use it to commute on the train. Fingers crossed. Maybe they will take a closer look at these issues, but meanwhile, I love my Gotrax for ease of commuting on the train, very stable.

Scooter is very good looking, ride is very smooth especially for not having any suspension. The low deck is pretty awsome. The dual front brakes are excellent. It struggles up some steep hills. I have to kick it up some hills even. Also it doesn't fold as compact as I would like, it won't fit under train or bus seats unless I lay it down on its side. My biggest complaint is that the build quality of this scooter is poor. -The spring pins that hold the handlebar stem to the steering stem have backed out on their own, I've had to bend them so they won't back out. -The folding mechanism is not smooth. It binds and becomes very difficult to unfold. -Lots of squeaking and creaks out the front, I worry that the front bushing will begin cracking at some point -The front brake sometimes doesn't fully release, leading to the front wheel dragging a bit. Because of this, I can't adjust the front brake to be as tight as I'd like, or else the front brakes will always be slightly engaged. -I had the controller freak out and not work for a couple of minutes. -Brake cables are cut too long. -Back fender is super wobbly and the light wire runs underneath it, so it will be a matter of time when that wire gets worn through. -The riv-nuts holding in the kickstand have become very loose. Overall I do like the scooter. It looks great, ride is nice, it's light, the dual drums is nice, and the speed is good. The low deck is great and not as much of a problem bottoming out as other reviewers have said,. However, for the price, I wish the quality was better. Knowing what I know now, I'd still probably go with this scooter just because the looks, the ride, light weight and low deck are so good.
