MANTIS 2025 - fluid Edition Legacy Trigger Throttle Display 18.2Ah - 33 miles range Reviews

4.5 Rating 470 Reviews
Purchased 2 manti for the wife and I. They are very powerful and fast. They are fun to zoom around on. Set them up and charged them. And away we went. Received them in 4 or 5 days from ordering. They are a different kind of fun than riding a motorcycle. Going 30+ mph that low to the ground is exelerating. The lights are cool looking and the bell is a nice added touch. Very happy.

I have about 30 miles on my new Mantis scooter. I have the base version. It is really a great ride! I've had no issues at all with assembling it and using it. It is indeed a powerful machine. I governed it down a bit to 75% of power so that I get used to it. It is really smooth both in acceleration and also in breaking. I would definitely recommend the scooter to those people who want a high and powerful, long range scooter.

i only have 20 miles on my mantis and while nothing has broken yet, it seems to be only a matter of time until it does. Its poorly built chinese crap and i am sure the head stock on the handle bars will snap off, All of the scooters varla, fluid etc are built the exact way and i am sure they are are garbage. With this said, the battery life has been solid and its very fast. just seems not ready for real world use.

I will say initial ridebwhen u first get on a Mantis, is a pretty smooth ride i wont lie, and for the most part remains that way. A few negatives obviously has taken away from my liking which has greatly affected my future decision on purchasing such an investment. 1 The scooter starts offnin gear three, so for those inexperienced or not expecting the acceleration can easily lose control. 2. Thebthrttle is on top above the break, almost identical to the shape ofbthe break. Easy to confuse or if rest ur forearm on the throttle waiting for lights or something, scooter cud take off. A thumb thrortle, or motorcycle throttle would be better. 3. The kick push ftr to start off acceleration also works going backwards, which is dumb. If im pushing/pull back, if my finger hits the throttle it shud takeoff forward. 4.Theyncould have made an easier stem lock feature. 5. The lighting system is meant to be seen and not for u to see. Its a bright light yes,but at the base, not giving any real assistance in seeing ahead of you. Drive slow in dark areas. But no worries sbout being seen. 6. The tube/tire partnership is so delicate. Its either the rim thats allowing for easy damage or poorly tested tubes r being sold because they burst with ease. Tubes/tires shud have more of a real life testing. The average dtn, rural city doesn't have newly paved, smooth roads all throughout the city so they shud be tested on a rougher terrain. 7. Too long to charge 8. There should a key ignition likenother scooters. Helps with ease of mind as well as theft prevention.

Hi Tafari - we are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the Mantis. We sincerely hope that these details are not affecting your riding experience during your commute. If the charging time is an issue for you, we recommend getting the 60V fast charger effectively reducing the charging time by more than 50%. BR
